• Provide technical and disciplinary leadership for the IT Security team • Further develop the security strategy in close collaboration with application development and IT Operations • Ensure the integrity, confidentiality and stability of sensitive software and system landscapes • Identify vulnerabilities, develop sustainable remediation measures and oversee their implementation • Own security-related topics for in-house developments, system landscapes and interfaces • Advise management and prepare strategic decision-making materials • Build a modern, collaborative and forward-looking security culture

• Conduct a detailed security analysis of our Proxy server and its installation processes. • Investigate detection mechanisms employed by antivirus software (specifically at the signature, heuristic, and behavioral analysis levels). • Collaborate with antivirus vendors to provide necessary information and dispute false positives. • Develop and implement recommendations for changes to the Proxy server's code, build processes, and distribution methods to minimize the risk of false positives in the future. • Assess our product's adherence to best practices in application security. • Provide training to the development team on secure development practices, as needed.

• Actively develop existing customer relationships and proactively acquire new customers with a focus on IT security solutions • Strategically expand the customer portfolio, including pipeline and project management • Develop and implement tailored target and action plans for your accounts • Establish and maintain strong partnerships with relevant vendors (in particular Palo Alto) • Represent the company at trade shows and industry events

Role Description You'll produce the technical documentation that helps security engineers deploy, configure, and get full value from the platform — including admin guides, API docs, threat response playbooks, and release notes. You'll work directly with product and engineering to stay ahead of each release. - Write and maintain product documentation including admin and configuration guides - Document API integrations and SIEM connector setup procedures - Create threat response playbooks and security runbooks for enterprise users - Write release notes and feature announcements for each product update - Audit existing documentation for technical accuracy and coverage gaps Qualifications - Strong technical writing skills with excellent written English - Comfortable working with complex, security-focused subject matter - Able to interview engineers and translate outputs into clear documentation - Organised and delivery-focused across multiple simultaneous projects Requirements - Background in cybersecurity, IT, or a related technical field (nice to have) - Familiarity with SIEM tools, EDR, or enterprise security concepts (nice to have) - Experience with docs-as-code workflows (Git, Markdown, static site generators) (nice to have) Benefits - $700–$1,100 USD/month based on experience - Fully remote with flexible hours - Specialist domain with strong career value - Paid leave - Path into senior writing, developer relations, or security engineering roles
