Role Description You'll produce the technical documentation that helps security engineers deploy, configure, and get full value from the platform — including admin guides, API docs, threat response playbooks, and release notes. You'll work directly with product and engineering to stay ahead of each release. - Write and maintain product documentation including admin and configuration guides - Document API integrations and SIEM connector setup procedures - Create threat response playbooks and security runbooks for enterprise users - Write release notes and feature announcements for each product update - Audit existing documentation for technical accuracy and coverage gaps Qualifications - Strong technical writing skills with excellent written English - Comfortable working with complex, security-focused subject matter - Able to interview engineers and translate outputs into clear documentation - Organised and delivery-focused across multiple simultaneous projects Requirements - Background in cybersecurity, IT, or a related technical field (nice to have) - Familiarity with SIEM tools, EDR, or enterprise security concepts (nice to have) - Experience with docs-as-code workflows (Git, Markdown, static site generators) (nice to have) Benefits - $700–$1,100 USD/month based on experience - Fully remote with flexible hours - Specialist domain with strong career value - Paid leave - Path into senior writing, developer relations, or security engineering roles

• Assist with the deployment and configuration of security tools, including SIEM, EDR, and vulnerability management platforms and AI detection and monitoring tools to enable AI detection and monitoring • Support infrastructure security efforts such as architecture reviews and threat modeling for new and existing services. • Help integrate security tooling across cloud environments to improve visibility and protection. • Collaborate with the security engineering team to automate security processes using scripting languages such as Python or Bash. • Participate in security assessments and contribute to vulnerability management activities. • Research emerging cybersecurity technologies and trends to support the team's knowledge base. • Document security processes, findings, and tool configurations to support team knowledge sharing.

GreyNoise packet captures the Internet every second of every day, and you will lead an expert team of researchers turning billions of packets into accurate, unique, and actionable threat intelligence. • Forge expert novel research into powerful practitioner information at conferences, in publications, and throughout the GreyNoise platform. • Collaborate with Product, Engineering, Sales, Marketing and Customer Success to align the team's mission and priorities with business plans and goals. • Represent GreyNoise as one of the key faces and voices of our research, communicating our insights, observations, and innovations through community engagement, social media, blog posts, research papers, conferences, media interactions, and direct communication to customers. • Forge and manage partnerships with key government and industry researchers to ensure GreyNoise remains at the forefront of new developments. • Mentor, coach, and grow with one of the most respected and knowledgeable teams of internet researchers and cybersecurity practitioners in the industry.
