Job Description

PreSales Team Lead

Provenir Inc

Role Description Provenir is seeking an EMEA PreSales Team Lead who is a business thought leader and who will partner with the company’s customer-facing teams to sell Provenir’s risk-decisioning platform. The role of this consultant is to understand the customer’s business challenges and use expert knowledge of the Provenir solutions from a business and technical perspective to deliver a compelling proposition with strong emphasis on the value that can be delivered. In this role, you will establish yourself as a ‘go-to’ expert both internally and externally. This role plays a critical role in influencing new revenue growth by shaping solution strategies, enhancing win rates, and accelerating sales cycles and will partner closely with Sales, Product, Marketing, Professional Services, and Data Science teams. You will build and coach a high-performing team of Solutions Consultants while personally engaging in the region’s most strategic opportunities and executive-level customer engagements. Qualifications - 6+ years of experience in Solutions Consulting, Sales Engineering, Pre-Sales, or a related customer-facing role supporting enterprise software sales; experience in a SaaS environment strongly preferred. - 1+ years of leadership experience (people leadership and/or player-coach leadership) with demonstrated success developing and scaling high-performing teams. - Demonstrated experience in financial services and risk domains (e.g., credit risk, fraud prevention, AML/financial crime, sanctions, onboarding/KYC, customer management, collections, and/or payments). - Strong ability to translate business requirements into solution architectures, including data flows, integration patterns (REST APIs), and cloud deployment considerations. - Proven ability to lead complex, multi-stakeholder sales cycles, facilitate executive-level workshops, and articulate business value to technical and non-technical audiences. - Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including strong documentation quality (e.g., discovery summaries, solution blueprints, evaluation plans, and RFP responses). - Strong planning and organizational skills; ability to manage competing priorities across multiple opportunities and teams. - Bachelor’s degree in Business, Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering, or a related discipline (or equivalent experience). - Fluency in English and French and ideally Spanish are advantageous. Requirements - Partner with EMEA Sales Leadership to define pre-sales strategy for pipeline coverage, account planning, and execution on strategic opportunities; align Solutions Consulting capacity to business priorities. - Lead customer discovery to uncover business objectives, pain points, decisioning requirements, and success metrics across the customer lifecycle (onboarding, fraud, credit risk, compliance, and customer management). - Deliver compelling, executive-ready storytelling demonstrations, presentations, and workshops that translate Provenir capabilities into measurable business value, ROI, and differentiation. - Act as the executive technical sponsor for must-win opportunities; building credibility and trust with C-level executives and senior risk/compliance leaders; confidently navigate objections, competitive comparisons, and complex procurement processes. - Own solution architecture and design workshops that define target-state decisioning workflows, data and integration requirements, operating model considerations, and implementation approach. - Support technical evaluations (POCs/pilots) with clear success criteria, project plans, and exit recommendations; ensure evaluations are purposeful, time-boxed, and aligned to business outcomes. - Drive and review RFP/RFI responses and proposal content, coordinating subject matter experts across Product, Engineering, Data Science, GAI, and Security/Compliance. - Partner with Data Science teams to align client needs with AI/ML capabilities (e.g., model strategy, governance, champion-challenger, and MLOps considerations) and to shape an end-to-end decision intelligence narrative. - Collaborate closely with Professional Services/Customer Success to ensure a seamless handoff, clear scope assumptions, and alignment between the proposed solution and delivery plans. - Represent Provenir as a thought leader through webinars, conferences, customer roundtables, and partner events; stay current on EMEA regulatory expectations and market trends in credit risk, fraud, AML, sanctions, and financial crime. - Build, lead, and develop a high-performing EMEA Solutions Consulting team, including hiring, onboarding, coaching, performance management, and career development; establish succession plans and a strong team culture. - Define and continuously improve the Solutions Consulting engagement model: discovery standards, demo and workshop frameworks, POC qualification and governance, and reusable value-realization assets to scale impact. - Think about resourcing supply and demand over a longer-term plan including succession planning, holiday and career progression. - Oversee and continuous process improvements including demo environments, reference architectures, and content libraries; ensuring assets are accurate, secure, and aligned to target verticals and use cases. - Establish operating cadence and performance metrics (e.g., win-rate influence, technical win rates, sales-cycle acceleration, pipeline coverage, utilization, customer feedback) and ensure consistent activity reporting. - Work with Sales and Revenue leadership to prioritize opportunities, assign resources, and manage trade-offs; maximizing impact of pre-sales investments across the region. - Develop and deploy enablement programs and training curricula for Solutions Consulting (and adjacent field teams) aligned to evolving product capabilities, competitive landscape, and go-to-market motions. - Partner with Product Management, Engineering, Marketing, and Customer Success to provide structured feedback from the field, competitive intelligence, and requirements that influence roadmaps and messaging. - Champion collaboration and knowledge sharing across global Solutions Consulting teams to drive consistent quality and accelerate global learning. Benefits - Comprehensive health and wellness plans. - Paid time off and company holidays. - Flexible and remote-friendly opportunities. - Maternity/paternity leave. Additional Information - Travel: 25–50% (short-notice travel across EMEA and occasional global travel as needed). - Languages: English, French (Mandatory), Spanish (Preferred).
