• Manage multiple concurrent, medium-to-large scale technical projects while ensuring alignment with scope, schedule, budget, and quality standards. • Build comprehensive project plans, delivery timelines, and dependency models for cross-functional technical initiatives. • Optimize project execution by applying appropriate methodologies, such as Agile, Kanban, or hybrid models, to match project complexity. • Manage coordination between technical staff, system administrators, and business stakeholders to ensure a shared understanding of goals. • Resolve complex issues involving system dependencies, data integrity, implementation constraints, or resource conflicts that team members cannot address independently. • Anticipate technical, operational, and stakeholder risks across the project lifecycle and incorporate contingency planning into delivery approaches. • Review work products—including project documentation, requirements, testing artifacts, and delivery outputs—to ensure adherence to quality standards. • Provide coaching and constructive feedback to Technical Project Managers and project contributors to support skill development and professional growth.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative field preferably in engineering, Computer Science, Data Science, Information Systems, Environmental Science, or related field.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience managing complex technical projects or project teams.
- Relevant project management certification or equivalent experience, PMP or equivalent.
- Demonstrated experience managing software, data, or systems implementation projects involving cross-functional technical teams.
- Proven ability to anticipate risks, resolve complex technical issues, and mitigate project constraints independently.
- Strong working knowledge of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and common project management methodologies, including Agile, Kanban, and Waterfall.
- Advanced ability to manage dependencies, review work artifacts, and maintain quality standards across project lifecycles.
- Excellent technical written and verbal communication skills with high attention to detail and an ability to balance competing priorities.
