Technical Project Manager

• Lead Agile delivery across multiple high-velocity development pods by facilitating core Scrum ceremonies (Sprint Planning, Daily Stand-ups, Reviews, and Retrospectives) and keeping teams aligned and productive • Monitor team health, velocity, and capacity, and translate detailed Agile progress into concise, actionable updates for program leadership • Partner with Product Owner(s) to ensure the backlog is refined, prioritized, and ready at least two sprints ahead • Manage the project schedule and Integrated Master Schedule (IMS), ensuring delivery stays aligned to key milestones and timelines • Track technical dependencies, including integrations, environments, and infrastructure readiness, and ensure they are resolved on time • Identify risks and issues early, drive mitigation actions, and maintain control over scope, schedule, and delivery expectations • Support coordination of system integrations and data exchanges across platforms to ensure seamless end-to-end functionality • Align delivery with DevSecOps practices, including CI/CD workflows and release processes, to support consistent and reliable deployments • Maintain Jira dashboards, burn-down charts, and key metrics to provide visibility into progress and blockers • Prepare and deliver regular status updates covering progress, risks, resource utilization, and delivery performance • Serve as a key point of contact for client stakeholders, providing clear communication on progress, risks, and upcoming activities • Build and maintain strong working relationships with stakeholders by ensuring transparency, responsiveness, and consistent follow-through • Support client meetings, demos, and working sessions, ensuring alignment between technical teams and stakeholder expectations • Ensure work across tickets, defects, and changes is progressing and completed within expected timelines • Own documentation of SOPs, configuration changes, and implementation guides to maintain knowledge continuity and support
Job Requirements
- 9+ years of proven experience in a hybrid Technical Project Manager/Scrum Master role managing software development teams.
- Expert-level practical knowledge of Scrum, Kanban, and scaling frameworks (e.g., SAFe, LeSS).
- Relevant Certifications: Certified ScrumMaster (CSM), Project Management Professional (PMP), or SAFe Scrum Master (SSM).
- Advanced proficiency in Agile lifecycle management tools, specifically Jira and Confluence (creating reports, dashboards, and managing workflows).
- Ability to understand and actively participate in technical discussions concerning modern architectures (e.g., microservices), DevSecOps pipelines, and Cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
- Demonstrated experience working within formal System Development Lifecycle (SDLC) and governance frameworks.
- It would be great if you also had:
- Prior experience successfully delivering IT solutions within a U.S. Federal Government environment.
- Relevant Certifications: Certified ScrumMaster (CSM), Project Management Professional (PMP), or SAFe Scrum Master (SSM).
- Specific experience delivering complex workflow, business process, or Case Management systems.
