• Serve as the Subject Matter Expert (SME) for data architecture, including design, analysis, evaluation, infrastructure, efficiency, migration, and overarching strategy. • Strategically plan new designs for database structure integrations, using knowledge of system interfaces to ensure effective integration and optimal performance. • Analyze methods for transforming existing data into new environment formats and loading it into other database structures. • Provide recommendations for environment disaster recovery plans and migration tools. • Manage source-to-target data mapping between different data models. • Assist in planning, designing, and managing data migration processes between cloud environments. • Work closely with the project manager and development lead to identify resources and integrate the data migration plan into the project schedule. • Develop best practices and standards for risk management, scheduling, and data-related requirements gathering. • Perform migration and testing of transactional data from legacy systems to modernized systems. • Perform migration of users from source to destination systems and coordinate with customers on post-migration issues. • Define test cases and quality control mechanisms to ensure data is migrated correctly, at the right time, and in suitable volumes for each project phase. • Perform post-migration quality assurance, audits, reconciliation, and exception reporting. • Review existing migration tools and recommend performance improvements for the migration process. • Identify migration risks and proactively communicate them to the project manager and technical lead. • Work with management to continually improve team workflows and processes.

• Lead development of complex custom applications and integrations for federal clients • Analyze and re-engineer functionality from large, often undocumented legacy codebases onto the Salesforce platform • Design and lead complex integrations with external, federal, and financial systems, such as payment, billing, and reconciliation interfaces • Lead data migration from legacy systems, including data mapping, transformation, and validation • Integrate the Salesforce platform with cloud services such as AWS and enterprise data warehouses such as Snowflake • Support and lead multiple complex projects simultaneously • Provide expert troubleshooting of technical and process issues across implementations • Understand and contribute to overall architectural design decisions • Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines and apply DevSecOps practices across the development lifecycle • Ensure solutions meet Section 508 accessibility and federal security and compliance requirements such as FISMA and NIST • Advise on products, processes, roadmaps, and strategies for federal programs • Lead sessions in implementation best practices and coding standards • Actively mentor and support junior and mid-level team members • Present knowledge sharing sessions for team, practice, and company • Interview prospective team members and contribute to hiring decisions • Drive internal business development activities including demos and proofs of concept • Build strong stakeholder relationships with federal clients • Lead code reviews and provide constructive feedback to ensure quality • Contribute to practice documentation, accelerators, and reusable components
• Will support the operation of a Help Desk (24x7 manning), providing consolidated, comprehensive technical assistance for software maintenance support for a US Government customer. • Provide technical support for COTS products and customized desktop applications, web applications, databases, user account administration issues, and technical/functional support for individual user problems. • Supports response to system user requests for assistance. • Supports on-the-spot diagnostic evaluation. The scope of this support includes resolving the problem/providing support over the phone, or escalating the issue to the appropriate tier for resolution. • Excellent written and verbal communication skills. • Isolated environment with an internet connection in which to work remotely. • Primary work shift will be weekdays Midnights EST but may include weekends periodically.
• Work autonomously to apply and establish testing best practices. • Collaborate with the development team to lead the design, development, implementation, and maintenance of a test automation framework that supports multiple project needs. This includes using tools like FitNesse, Selenium, and Cucumber, and writing test scripts in Java. • Deploy test automation to a continuous integration environment and ensure that test results are communicated clearly and promptly. • Participate in sprint planning and work closely with the project team to identify risks and impacts for the systems being tested. • Create and generate test scenarios from user stories and acceptance criteria. • Manage multiple project schedules at different phases of testing, maintaining strong organizational skills and the ability to prioritize tasks effectively. • Coordinate QA tasks and priorities for each project, including identifying QA/testing environment needs. • Walk through and demonstrate testing results to Product Owners and business stakeholders to gain sign-off on user stories. • Ensure defects or requirement changes identified during testing are tracked, verified, and resolved before moving the application into production.
• Help to envision, design, and implement new features utilizing the Appian low-code platform for the projects based upon the prioritized product backlog • Bring innovating, out-of-the-box thinking to solving challenging problems, brainstorming with peers, and utilizing available resources, including internal as well as external resources • Provide estimates of upcoming sprints’ work based upon current understanding of the functionality • Work with functional and testing team to understand the business functionality, to ensure what is developed meets or exceeds the end-user needs • Unit test all developed features, including edge cases. Also, be comfortable conducting peer review of other developer’s code as needed • Attend and actively participate in all Agile-related meetings. Work within the Agile framework, including participating in User Story grooming sessions, Sprint Planning meetings, and retrospectives • Delivery presentations as required to the client during Sprint demos and coordinating meetings with intersecting teams as needed. • Participate in implementation architectures for digital solutions, frameworks, and accelerators • Participate in knowledge sharing sessions within the company to socialize best practices and draft white papers as applicable • Help with building proof of concept, creating technical solutions for internal application as needed • Assist with upskilling and training developers; contributing to growth of internal training resources and programs. • Act as a leading contributor to internal knowledge repository, maintaining and creating best practices documentation as necessary.
