Role Description This role will serve as a Vulnerability Engineer within the Division of Information Security (DIS), supporting and maturing the statewide vulnerability management program. The consultant will play a key role in helping agencies reduce risk, improve remediation timelines, and strengthen the overall security posture. This is a multi‑year contract opportunity with an initial term and strong potential for extension. - Administration of vulnerability management platforms - Coordination with state agencies - Vulnerability analysis and prioritization - Development and tracking of POA&Ms - Stakeholder reporting - Training agencies on best practices for vulnerability remediation and patching While the role is approved for remote work, candidates who are able to provide onsite support when needed will be prioritized, particularly for project‑based or stakeholder engagement requirements.
