• Define the strategic roadmap for MoonPay Institutional, working closely with the business head and senior leadership to prioritize the initiatives that create the most commercial leverage • Lead high-value partnership negotiations and deal structures with institutional clients and financial infrastructure providers • Translate market signals and competitive intelligence into clear recommendations that shape product direction and go-to-market strategy • Drive execution across Product, Legal, Compliance, Sales, and Engineering, holding each workstream to a high standard of delivery • Identify white space opportunities in the institutional crypto market and develop the business case to pursue them
• Design and implement a comprehensive, risk-based global internal audit program inline with IIA International standards and best practices, updated annually and refreshed dynamically as regulatory obligations and business risks evolve. • Provide internal audit coverage of MoonPay's operations, including capital, supervisory controls, AML/KYC/KYT, operational, and capital adequacy obligations, and digital asset custody operations. • Coordinate with external auditors on regulatory audit requirements and maintain regulatory examination readiness. • Present findings, audit plans, and emerging risks to the Board, relevant committees, and senior management
• Pitch and secure coverage across mainstream, tier-1, and industry outlets on an ongoing basis to position MoonPay as a globally recognized brand. • Own the end-to-end press release lifecycle — from drafting and internal review through legal approval, partner sign-off, and wire distribution via PR Newswire. • Build and maintain MoonPay's network of media contacts, proactively sourcing new journalists to cultivate ongoing relationships with key press contacts to drive future coverage • Field inbound press inquiries, coordinating with internal subject-matter experts to provide timely and accurate responses • Track and compile comprehensive media coverage reports and visibility metrics • Write supporting content including blog posts on MoonPay’s Newsroom • Source and draft Assist with award nominations and industry list submissions • Prepare briefing documents and talking points for executives ahead of conference panels, fireside chats, and media interviews • Support speaker logistics for events — registrations, scheduling, and coordination with event organizers • Coordinate across time zones with product, partnerships, legal, and leadership to align on messaging and announcement timing • Manage relationships with PR tools and vendor platforms • Keep the GTM pipeline tracker up to date and flag scheduling conflicts or dependencies

Locations Supported New York / United States - Remote About the Opportunity We’re hiring a Crypto Operations Accountant to join MoonPay’s Accounting team, reporting to the Senior Revenue Accounting Manager. This role sits at the core of our crypto on- and off-ramp business and supports new product launches as MoonPay continues to scale globally. You’ll work closely with Accounting, Data, Product, and Treasury teams to ensure crypto activity is accurately recorded, processes are built to scale, and financial reporting reflects the complexity of crypto and fintech operations. What You Will Do - Support month-end close financial reporting for all crypto-related activity across the business - Perform month-end balance sheet reconciliations and flux analysis across all revenue-related accounts - Validate the completeness and accuracy of large transactional datasets - Design, document, and implement accounting processes and procedures for new products - Lead process improvement and automation initiatives to enhance efficiency, scalability, and control effectiveness - Support internal and external audits, including compliance and financial reporting requirements About You Must-have experience and skills: - 4+ years of accounting experience in at a crypto, fintech, banking, or payments company - Comfortable operating in fast-paced, evolving environments where processes are still being built - Detail-oriented, curious, and comfortable asking hard questions to get to the right answer - Experience working with large transactional datasets - Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across various levels of the organization. • Conduct end-to-end KYC and EDD reviews across all customer risk tiers, ensuring compliance with internal policies and global AML/CTF regulations. • Perform complex EDD investigations on high-risk individuals, including deep analysis of identity, source of funds, and source of wealth. • Assess financial crime, sanctions, and jurisdictional risk, escalating potential SAR cases with clear, defensible investigative documentation. • Collaborate with Compliance, Fraud, and FIU teams to resolve complex escalations and maintain consistent risk decisioning. • Operate effectively in a high-volume environment while maintaining high QA standards and meeting productivity KPIs. • Act as a KYC/EDD subject matter expert and escalation point for customer-facing and operational teams. • Develop and maintain operational processes, workflows, and documentation to support scalable identity verification operations. • Identify operational inefficiencies and propose data-driven solutions to improve quality, speed, and risk controls. • Deliver project support and training for internal teams and BPO partners.
• Own and optimise global payroll operations processes, identifying inefficiencies and driving standardisation across entities, providers, and workflows • Design, build, and test robust payroll processes, ensuring they are efficient, repeatable, and audit-ready • Introduce practical automation and workflow improvements to reduce manual effort and increase accuracy (e.g. process improvements, system configurations, better use of existing tools) • Partner closely with the Payroll Manager to support payroll delivery while enabling them to focus on strategic ownership and governance • Build and maintain operational frameworks including documentation, controls, calendars, SLAs, and performance tracking • Support payroll-related transformation initiatives, including M&A integrations, new country launches, and vendor/process improvements • Improve payroll data quality, reporting, and visibility across Finance, Legal, and People teams to support better decision-making
• Perform quality reviews of manual fraud decisions and chargeback / dispute handling to ensure accuracy and consistency • Audit analyst decisions against internal policies, risk frameworks, and card network rules (Visa, Mastercard, PayPal, etc.) • Identify trends in errors, inconsistencies, and edge cases across workflows • Produce QA reports and insights to highlight performance gaps and improvement opportunities • Partner with Fraud Investigations, CX, and Payments teams to drive process improvements • Support calibration sessions and contribute to defining QA standards, playbooks, and scoring frameworks
• Own day-to-day Workday HCM operations, including business processes, reporting, and issue resolution across the employee lifecycle • Design, build, and maintain Workday integrations with internal and external systems (e.g. Finance, Payroll, IT tools) • Configure and optimise Workday modules to support evolving business needs while maintaining system integrity • Identify inefficiencies and drive automation and system improvements to reduce manual processes • Partner with HR, Finance, Payroll, Talent, IT, and Engineering teams to gather requirements and deliver scalable solutions • Support Workday bi-annual releases, including testing, documentation, and deployment of new features and functionality.
• Act as an incident commander during live fraud attacks, coordinating containment and response across teams. • Lead complex fraud investigations, identifying root causes and recommending permanent fixes to prevent recurrence. • Assess the severity of fraud cases and escalate high-risk cases to the Manager or Compliance in a timely manner. • Execute rapid containment actions (blocks, freezes, restrictions) to minimise fraud exposure during active incidents. • Review, build, implement, and tune fraud detection rules to optimise accuracy and minimise false declines. • Backtest rule logic against historical data to validate effectiveness before deployment. • Monitor rule performance in production and iterate based on real-time data and investigation outcomes. • Own the False Decline Rate for rules implemented by the Fraud Investigations team, keeping it within acceptable thresholds. • Conduct quality assurance reviews on BPO fraud analyst casework, assessing both process adherence and decision-making accuracy. • Provide structured feedback and coaching to BPO teams to drive continuous improvement in investigation quality. • Define and maintain QA scoring frameworks and calibration standards. • Build, deploy, and QA AI-powered agents and automation workflows that enhance fraud detection and investigation efficiency. • Identify opportunities to automate repetitive investigation tasks and scale the team’s operational capacity. • Partner with Engineering, Data, and ML teams to translate investigative insights into scalable tooling and controls. • Engage with Product, ML, Engineering, and Compliance teams to support investigations and contribute to fraud mitigation strategies. • Provide support to internal teams raising fraud queries, acting as a subject matter expert on fraud risk. • Ensure accurate and timely documentation of fraud cases, maintaining clear records for internal reporting and external audit requirements. • Identify gaps in tooling or processes and provide actionable feedback to improve detection accuracy and investigation efficiency.
