Senior Workday Engineer – Techno-Functional Lead

• Own day-to-day Workday HCM operations, including business processes, reporting, and issue resolution across the employee lifecycle • Design, build, and maintain Workday integrations with internal and external systems (e.g. Finance, Payroll, IT tools) • Configure and optimise Workday modules to support evolving business needs while maintaining system integrity • Identify inefficiencies and drive automation and system improvements to reduce manual processes • Partner with HR, Finance, Payroll, Talent, IT, and Engineering teams to gather requirements and deliver scalable solutions • Support Workday bi-annual releases, including testing, documentation, and deployment of new features and functionality.
Job Requirements
- 3+ years of hands-on Workday experience across configuration and integrations
- Experience across multiple Workday modules; Core HCM, Reporting, Advanced Compensation, Talent & Performance, Time Tracking, and Learning.
- Strong experience with Workday integrations (e.g. APIs, EIBs, Workday Studio or similar tools)
- Comfortable owning both system operations and technical improvements end-to-end
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex system or data issues independently
- Ability to work cross-functionally and translate business needs into effective system solutions
