The Cloud Solutions Engineer will be responsible for the design, implementation, and maintenance of cloud architectures. This includes developing solutions for storage, security, and networking to ensure optimal performance and reliability. Key Responsibilities - Deliver administration, maintenance, and ongoing support of the shared cloud environment. - Build, configure, tune, and implement automation for cloud lifecycle and operational improvement. - Develop cloud architectures, including solutions for storage, security, and networking. - Collaborate with development, operations, and security teams to integrate systems and streamline processes. - Identify, analyze, and resolve infrastructure and application issues within the cloud environment. - Utilize scripts and tools to automate deployment and management processes using infrastructure as code practices. - Create and maintain documentation for cloud architectures, processes, and procedures. - Support customers with DNS, IP, and firewall issues regarding the Cloud environment. - Work directly with architects to help reproduce and resolve customer issues. Required Qualifications Experience: 2-5+ years of experience working with GCP and building out infrastructure on the cloud, excluding migration-only work. Expertise in the design and operation of medium to large-scale enterprise or cloud infrastructure, databases, and application systems. Technical Skills: - Infrastructure as Code (IaC) with Terraform. - GitOps, Gitlab, or GitHub. - Scripting with Python. - Linux systems knowledge. - Documentation experience. - Deep understanding of cloud computing technologies, applications, and trends. - Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins or Git. - Solid networking experience and troubleshooting, including basic knowledge of TCP/IP and the OSI Model. Preferred Qualifications - Knowledge of industry standards and standards organizations (e.g., ITIL, TOGAF, PMP). - Experience with Microsoft Azure or Amazon Web Services (AWS). - Knowledge of software designing software, such as LucidChart or Visio. Compensation and Benefits The pay rate for this position is $50.00/hr - $60.00/hr.
