Marine Area Sales Manager – Central Europe

• Lead, coach, and develop a diverse, high‑performing regional sales team • Plan and execute sales strategies across direct and indirect channels • Build and maintain strong, trust‑based relationships with key customers, distributors, and strategic partners • Actively manage, develop, and grow existing and prospective accounts and partnerships • Translate regional and sector strategies into actionable channel and account plans • Drive distributor performance and volume growth • Strengthen sales capabilities by delivering regular coaching • Own sales forecasting and pipeline management • Ensure full compliance with company policies and legal requirements • Represent the region at country level and contribute to the broader business strategy

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent; an advanced degree is an advantage
  • Proven experience leading sales teams across large, diverse, and international geographies
  • Strong experience within the marine sector; background in shipping, oil & gas, or adjacent industries is highly desirable
  • Deep understanding of marine markets, customer segments, and competitive dynamics
  • Demonstrated ability to inspire, develop, and retain diverse teams through effective coaching and talent development
  • Strong commercial acumen with a track record of delivering sustainable results and improving customer profitability
  • Excellent communication, influencing, and negotiation skills with customers, partners, and internal stakeholders
  • Fluency in English; additional languages and relevant local language skills are a plus
