What You'll Do The Marketplace Customer Account Manager manages and grows the net revenue from Avalara customers through up-sell, cross-sell, and add-on opportunities. You will develop long-lasting customer relationships in the evolving world of tax and VAT compliance. You excel at work creating value for the client, and have account management and sales skills. You will report to the Director of Marketplace Sales. What Your Responsibilities Will Be - Responsible for customer retention throughout the renewal sales cycle - Provide forecasts to direct manager and track customer and partner interactions, using Salesforce - Articulate and present the value delivered by Avalara products and services to multiple levels within an organization to ensure renewal - Understand a clients' business environment and uncover areas of growth or new opportunities to explore. - Partner with the our teams including: engineering, product, finance, and global customer support team to promote client retention and satisfaction - Use the broader internal team to address client satisfaction issues - Create and document playbook, dashboards and models ensuring repeatable processes and scale - Be the subject matter expert and product knowledge expert to provide valuable relevant recommendations to clients. JOB SUMMARY The Patient Account Representative is responsible for working accounts to ensure they are resolved in a timely manner. This candidate should have a solid understanding of the Revenue Cycle as it relates to the entire life of a patient account from creation to payment. Representative will need to effectively follow-up on claim submission, remittance review for insurance collections, create and pursue disputed balances from both government and non-government entities. Basic knowledge of Commercial, Managed Care, Medicare and Medicaid insurance is preferable. An effective revenue cycle process is achieved with working as part of a dynamic team and the ability to adapt and grow in an environment where work assignments may change frequently while resolving accounts with minimal assistance. Representative must be able to work independently as well as work closely with management and team to take appropriate steps to resolve an account.
