The East Director, Rare Hematology and Oncology, Clinical Educator Team is a field-based position, responsible for managing a team of field-based Clinical Educators to support commercial objectives for Sanofi’s Rare Hematology and Oncology portfolio. The CE Director is expected to possess a high level of clinical and customer knowledge, have experience with both field and headquarter protocols and procedures, and possess drive and spirit to engage and influence. The director will be responsible for hiring, developing, inspiring, motivating and supporting the East Rare Hematology Oncology CE team. The Clinical Educator is responsible for calling on HCP’s and patients and collaborates with all internal stakeholders. This role works closely with field and home office-based colleagues in Marketing, Medical, Sales, TLL and Advocacy. This role will report to the Lead for the Field for Patient Support Services for the Rare Blood and Oncology Disorders division. Main Responsibilities: - Help define the culture, structure, and future direction of Sanofi’s Clinical Educator Team - Build and lead a high-performing team, capable of effective relationship building and cross-functional coordination/collaboration. - Create a compliant environment which challenges, motivates and develops team members to reach optimum performance and potential. - Set clear objectives, coach/mentor, and assess performance and skill level to develop future leaders within Rare Blood Disorders and Oncology. - Provide strategic customer insights to the team to develop and grow Sanofi’s RBD/Oncology portfolio. - Develop appropriate budget allocations and ensure that their team takes a disciplined approach to investment. - Partner with commercial leadership and other internal stakeholders to develop a strategic approach to the rare hematology/oncology business - Align Clinical Educator Strategic plan with KPIs and objectives of the brand plan and maintain high level of communication, collaboration with commercial team. - Act as a sponsor and ally for inclusion and diversity in all elements of our business - Comply with all forms of legal and statutory regulation within domain of responsibility, including compliance with applicable SOPs, industry codes of practice and best practices and actively support and promote a compliance culture and safe environment throughout the organization.
