POSITION SUMMARY: This Executive Account Director is responsible for strategically managing and growing existing key client accounts while driving new business opportunities within those partnerships. This role ensures both individual and team targets align with overall company goals while serving as the strategic lead for one of our most recognizable and high-profile consumer lifestyle accounts. This is a flagship account tied to an iconic global brand rooted in music, sports, entertainment, and premium consumer experiences—recognized worldwide for shaping culture, sound, and lifestyle trends. Because of the executive visibility and relationship-driven nature of this partnership, the candidate must be based in California, where the client’s leadership teams, strategic partnerships, and core business operations are centered. Proximity is essential for in-person meetings, executive engagement, and maintaining a strong client presence. The ideal candidate will build deep client relationships, identify growth opportunities, and develop tailored solutions that expand our footprint within assigned accounts. This position also involves presenting vertical opportunities to clients, enhancing profitability, and driving mutual long-term success. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: - Serve as the primary point of contact and trusted advisor for key accounts. Foster long-lasting, impactful relationships with clients, ensuring high levels of satisfaction, engagement, and retention. - Proactively identify and pursue upsell, cross-sell, and new business opportunities within existing accounts. Develop strategic account plans to achieve growth objectives, focusing on revenue targets, client satisfaction, and long-term partnership. - Build and maintain a healthy sales pipeline, aiming to meet or exceed sales quotas. Accelerate demand velocity, drive opportunities through to closure, and present compelling solutions tailored to client-specific needs. - Maintain a strong understanding of market trends, industry insights, and client needs. Use this knowledge to craft and adapt sales pitches, ensuring the company remains competitive and relevant. - Work closely with internal teams, including Business Development, Marketing, Estimating, Creative Services, Product Development, and Operations, to deliver cohesive, high-quality solutions that meet client objectives. - Collaborate with project teams to support customer coordination across project phases such as design definition, value engineering, prototype development, and delivery. Ensure seamless execution and client satisfaction throughout each project phase. - Oversee contract negotiations, renewals, and expansion opportunities. Manage terms and conditions, ensuring favorable outcomes that align with client expectations and company interests. - Monitor account performance metrics, analyze trends, and generate insights to enhance client service, satisfaction, and identify areas for improvement. - Engage new decision-makers, schedule meetings, and convert leads into opportunities within existing accounts SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITY: This position does not have direct reports. POSITION REQUIREMENTS: - Proficient in CRM software, preferably Salesforce. - Proficient in word processing, spreadsheets, and database management programs specifically in Microsoft Office Suite: Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint. - Excellent presentation, verbal, and written communication skills - Proven strong strategic thinking, negotiation, and problem-solving skills. - Strong time management and prioritization skills - Self-directed and motivated, with the ability to effectively operate independently. - Keen attention to detail. - Strong financial acumen in the commercial space. - Knowledge of market research, sales and negotiating principles. REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: - Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or related field preferred; combination of education and experience will be considered. - 5+ years of experience in account management, sales, or client relationship management, preferably with B2B key accounts combined valued at $10 million or more within Store Fixture Manufacturing, Construction, or adjacent industries. - Ability to strategize, plan, and execute initiatives to drive account growth and retention. OTHER JOB REQUIREMENTS: - Must be able to travel regionally up to 25% of the time or as required. - Varying work schedules based on business need are sometimes required. - Frequently required to sit, stand, walk, talk, and hear. - Must have a valid driver's license. - Ability to operate a computer keyboard. - Ability to read a variety of materials. - Ability to sit and stand for extended periods of time. - Ability to carry and lift materials up to 25 lbs.
