Team Lead Solution Architect
CDW
Role Description The Team Lead Solution Architect- DX is a field-based, senior technical pre-sales role focused on leading complex solution engagements and providing technical leadership across CDW’s Collaboration Practice within Digital Experience (DX) services. This role combines deep technical expertise, strategic solution design, and mentorship of peers to deliver high-impact customer outcomes. You will collaborate with customers, delivery teams, and internal sales to ensure best-in-class solution design and act as a trusted advisor. - Lead the technical direction of complex customer engagements, providing architectural guidance and driving solution strategy. - Develop assessment and service solutions for CDW customers, including architecture, optimizations, technology health checks, deployment services, and advisory services. - Collaborate with solution architects, solution executives, delivery teams, and internal sales to offer consultative guidance and plan sales strategy. - Analyze technical and competitive go-to-market considerations. - Serve as a mentor and technical resource for other Solution Architects, Solution Executives, and field sellers. - Maintain top partner certifications, industry-recognized credentials, and advanced education; stay current on emerging technologies and industry trends. - Represent CDW at customer events, industry conferences, and internal enablement sessions; contribute to content creation for the practice and speaking engagements. - Act as a subject matter expert across multiple families of products and solutions. - Identify opportunities to educate coworkers and customers regarding technology needs, solution innovations, and industry best practices. Qualifications - Bachelor’s Degree and ten years in technical, pre-sales, or post-sale delivery roles, with proven expertise in solution architecture, OR - 14 years in technical, pre-sales, or post-sale delivery roles, with proven expertise in solution architecture. - Motivated, self-starting, and able to independently deliver high-quality work with minimal guidance. - Deep industry knowledge and domain expertise: understands industry-specific challenges, regulations, and best practices; able to position CDW solutions effectively. - Technical leadership and influence: able to guide complex solutions, influence stakeholders, and mentor peers. - Customer-focused approach: excellent communication and presentation skills; able to understand customer needs, build trusted relationships, and deliver tailored solutions. - Solution design and problem-solving skills: capable of designing comprehensive solutions addressing complex customer requirements and translating technical concepts for non-technical audiences. - Willingness to travel up to 25% or as needed. Requirements - Base pay range: $151,350 - $211,870 depending on experience and skill set. - Annual bonus target of 25% subject to terms and conditions of plan.
