Strategic Systems Engineer
Selector
• Deliver bespoke technical presentations and demonstrations of the Selector AIOps platform to prospects and customers • You will be the lead for customer proof of values and new deployments, here you will deliver key customer defined outcomes leveraging SelectorAI platform and the Selector data science team. • Work jointly with account managers and business development teams to understand customer operational challenges and how Selector can be leveraged to improve business continuity and reduce key outage related metrics (MTTD, MTTI, MTTR). • Collaborate with sales and customer success teams on presentations and customer quarterly business reviews. • Collaborate with customer operations teams to understand workflows and challenges to learn how to best integrate the Selector AI platform • Provide post-sales technical support (training, deployment, support, etc.) in collaboration with the Selector Customer Success team. • Research technical topics such as needed for customer engagements and explore technical topics impacting the industry to grow as an industry leader
Job Requirements
- 5 years experience in a customer facing technical role in networking, monitoring, or application technology domains
- Deep understanding of networking and network related concepts and protocols such as BGP, OSPF, SDWAN, Wireless, Data Center architectures, etc.
- Familiar with monitoring protocols and platforms, understanding related protocols such SNMP Polling, Syslog, Rest APIs, Flow, SNMP Traps
- Experience delivering technical outcomes to Fortune 1000 companies
- Must be able to travel for in-person customer visits (1-3x per month)
- Familiarity with infrastructure and application monitoring is a strong bonus (e.g. hypervisors, K8s orchestrations, DataDog, AppDynamics)
