Or an equivalent combination of education and experience Travel Less than or equal to 50% Principal Duties & Responsibilities - Supports key activities for the National Sales Executives through collaborative discussion that results in the development of prospect sales strategies. - Stays abreast of the team’s needs by working with various internal and external partners to identify relevant trends, and other go-to-market activities that fill current gaps. - Assist with national sales opportunities including but not limited to presenting offerings to clients and brokers in finalist and other presentations, managing the RFP process for large case opportunities, working with underwriting and other internal teams to create attractive offers for prospective clients, and assisting with account implementations to ensure customer experience expectations are met and exceeded. - Coordinates with Premier Broker team to solve escalations for brokers and/or clients that may arise; assist with existing accounts as necessary, and emerging opportunities; Coordinate with team on target broker events and activities. - Assist with managing the new case pipeline; partners with other internal distribution channels to drive meaningful relationships to increase the number of national accounts. - Ensures that teams are collaborating when new opportunities arise; partners with the National Sales Executives to provide accurate projections. - Partners with internal teams to refine the RFP process and ensure a streamlined and efficient experience for brokers and prospective clients. - Builds relationship strategies to foster close working relationships amongst key business partners i.e., (Operations, PLADS, Dental/Vision, Premier Broker, Growth Solutions, and Digital Services). - Responsible for developing and maintaining a holistic view of Aflac offerings, competitor, and market conditions in order to provide relevant information to senior leadership. - Maintains subject matter expertise on Aflac products and benefit carriers. - Maintains expertise in proprietary and 3rd party benefits administration systems - Educates sales consultants on specific strategies, solutions, and industry changes; leads in finalist conversations. - Prepares follow-up client/TPE/broker question responses with sales leaders. - Performs due diligence to scope work and provide input to strategic questions required for defining opportunity; reviews discovery documents outlining detailed solutions - Conduct market research to identify opportunities, new broker contacts, and key stakeholders. Conduct research on prospects prior to finalist meetings. - Generate and deliver customized presentations to brokers and clients throughout the sales process. - Cold-call new broker contacts to expand the network and drive business growth. - Run, analyze and interpret sales reports to track performance, identify trends, and recommend improvements. - Provide required reports and metrics to leadership for sales reporting. - Performs other duties as needed. Total Rewards The salary range for this job is $150,000 - $200,000. This range is specific to the job and salary offers consider a wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions, including, but not limited to: education, experience, licensure, certifications, geographic location, and peer compensation. The range has been created in good faith based on information known to Aflac at the time of the posting. At Aflac, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for the role to allow for future and continued salary growth, and compensation decisions are dependent on the circumstances of each case. This salary range does not include any potential incentive pay or benefits, however, such information will be provided separately when appropriate.
