• Serve as a technical advisor across Sales Opportunities, the broader Calix team, and CSP customers • Support Sales Opportunities by shaping solution positioning, technical messaging, and deal strategy • Subject matter expert in positioning advanced premise solutions • Engage CSP technical teams to design, validate, and optimize 802.11 wireless networks • Apply strong knowledge of networking and in-home gateway platforms • Support MDU deployments, including shared and managed Wi-Fi models • Translate subscriber experience goals into scalable, supportable technical designs • Deliver technical presentations, demos, and solution walkthroughs • Support pre-sales discovery, solution alignment, and RFP responses • Maintain awareness of competitive solutions and market tactics • Develop internal training, presentations, and sales enablement materials • Stay current on wireless standards and industry best practices
Job Requirements
- BSEE/BSCS degree is desired and preferred.
- Experience with Layer 1/2/3 network architectures and technologies
- Solid understanding of SaaS cloud-based solutions and API integration.
- Ability to convey complex concepts at multiple levels within an organization.
- Experience with various Wi-Fi standards and managed Wi-Fi solutions.
- Experience in the service provider industry preferred.
- Strong interpersonal and soft skills.
- Experience working in cross-functional teams.
- Ability to work remotely and travel frequently within territory.
- Must have a valid driver's license.
- Industry certifications preferred but not required.
