Key Accounts Field Sales Engineer
Walter Tools
• Responsible for increasing sales of Walter products and services focusing on target customers in Key Accounts. • Establishes and maintains effective relationships with customers, and internal and external stakeholders. • Plans sales activities through market analysis to define appropriate customers. • Schedules customer visits that are productive for the customer and company. • Engages in active listening with the customer to learn their needs and requirements. • Communicates effectively with both internal and external stakeholders. • Negotiates agreements in collaboration with customers and business partners. • Works with internal stakeholders to coordinate and align company products and processes. • Promotes the complete range of company products and services. • Actively seeks the sales order from the customer upon obtaining their agreement.
Job Requirements
- Degree(B.S.)in mechanical engineering or business administration with technical focus, or advanced technical (A.S.) degree and or equivalent experience in cutting tool industry.
- Several years of sales experience with industrial cutting tools where new business development is the primary focus OR several years of manufacturing experience and ability to sell in end-user and channel sales model.
- Aerospace Engine Machining Experience strongly preferred.
- Experience in the manufacturing or distribution marketplace.
- Experience in working independently from a home office or virtual office environment with a small amount of travel expected.
- This position requires a valid Driver’s License.
- Qualified candidate must live in Erie, PA to Buffalo, NY (Western NY) area.
