Job Description

Product Category Manager – Thermostatic Control

IMI Climate Control

• Define and execute the global category strategy aligned with portfolio and business objectives • Own the full product lifecycle, from early ideation through launch and phase‑out • Optimize portfolio performance, including revenue, margin, market share, and SKU complexity • Use customer, market, and competitive insights to drive customer‑led innovation • Translate insights into clear product roadmaps, features, and value propositions • Partner with Sales and customers to build strong market understanding and support key accounts • Support go‑to‑market activities, including value‑based pricing, positioning, and launches • Collaborate closely with R&D, Engineering, Operations, Supply Chain, Sales, and Marketing • Contribute to forecasting and planning through market intelligence and volume projections

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Mechatronics, or a related engineering field (or equivalent experience)
  • Extensive experience in product management, portfolio management, technical sales, or related roles, ideally within HVAC, hydronic, or fluid control industries
  • Strong understanding of thermostatic controls, hydronic systems, and product lifecycle management
  • Commercial mindset with a data-driven approach to decision-making
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to turn complexity into clarity
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder-influencing skills in an international environment
  • Collaborative leadership style and a proactive, results-oriented mindset
  • Fluency in English, German is an advantage
  • Willingness to travel internationally to customers, sites, and industry events.
