Procurement and Material Planner
KBR, Inc.
• Procure equipment and materials as identified by individual task orders in support of GSMO-3 mission operations and engineering development initiatives • Find qualified vendors, get multiple quotes with quality clauses included • Work issues in parallel to expedite the process, calling vendors to check progress, placing orders, receiving orders • Monitor the status of open purchase orders to ensure on-time delivery of all materials, including timely resolution, communication, and mitigation of future potential problems
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree
- 7 + years of procurement experience
- In lieu of formal education 15 years of related procurement experience
- Experience working procurements for Government customers
- Broad understanding of procurement standards, procedures, and regulations
- Experience finding qualified vendors, getting multiple quotes with quality clauses included
- Familiarity with FAR requirements
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Self-motivated, self-directed and detail oriented

Role Description The Destination Manager - FIT will be reporting under the Regional Manager.
