Senior Vendor Management Professional

CenterWell Senior Primary Care

• Inspect and validate vendor partners to ensure and enforce alignment with CenterWell and Humana’s mission and business objectives. • Defines performance standards, inspection models, and escalation expectations that vendors are accountable to execute against. • Owns and enforces vendor escalation standards for critical business impacting events, ensuring appropriate urgency, routing, and leadership awareness. • Collaborate cross-functionally with internal teams (e.g., Operations, Compliance, Finance, Training, Procurement and Legal) to ensure vendor solutions meet evolving business and compliance needs. • Owns the design and alignment of performance scorecards and inspection routines across Service, RxE, and Specialty. • Validates vendor training effectiveness through audit outcomes, quality performance, and execution controls rather than training completion or content review. • Prepares leadership for clear decisions by framing risk, readiness, and accountability. • Contribute to strategic initiatives including RFP development, cost optimization, and member experience enhancements. • Represent CenterWell Rx Education in enterprise-wide vendor forums and cross-functional workstreams.

Job Requirements

  • 5 or more years of experience in vendor management, strategic sourcing and/or business operations
  • 3 or more years of BPO (Business Process Outsourcing) vendor management call center/client services experience.
  • Experience with tracking and analyzing Profit and Loss (P&L) statements on vendors/clients.
  • Strong relationship management and negotiation skills.
  • Proven ability to manage complex partnerships and drive performance outcomes.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with comfort engaging senior stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in business reporting tools and performance dashboards.
  • Technical experience with analytical and data visualization tools, preferably in Excel and Power BI.
  • Experience performing data analysis and/or trends analysis.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Healthcare Administration, or related field.
  • Experience in healthcare, pharmacy operations, or payer environments.
  • Familiarity with vendor governance frameworks and contract lifecycle management.
  • Experience with performance metrics and Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
  • Lean Six Sigma and/or the project management experience.
  • Ability to travel to vendor sites as needed (Domestic and international).

Role Description The Destination Manager - FIT will be reporting under the Regional Manager.
