Job Description: Veterinary District Sales Manager - (Royal Canin) Location: Denver West (Aspen, Gypsum, Grand Junction, Steamboat Springs areas) Field Based Role - Must live within Territory The Veterinary District Sales Manager is accountable for execution of the Vet Business Unit (BU) strategy and achievement of business objectives/KPI’s by delivering account specific sales goals. This is accomplished by identifying clinic opportunities and leveraging sales data. This role works cross functionally to grow relevance, access to clinics and Vet recommendation within assigned geography. This is an individual contributor role. What are we looking for? • Bachelor’s Degree Preferred • 2+ years sales experience, preferably B2B • Veterinary clinic experience preferred • Excellent communication & presentation skills (oral and written) • Possession of a driver’s license and a clean driving record • Overnight travel required, occasional weekends for conferences; approximately 20-30%+ travel What would be your key responsibilities? • Ability to translate knowledge of our products, categories, customer, and clinic data into business opportunities • Develop and execute a territory business plan by understanding clinic operational needs. Leverage this to grow clinics within assigned geography • Establish and grow relationships with clinic decision-makers within assigned geography • Develop and deliver compelling, data-driven presentations to address the unique needs of the Veterinary staff • Develops strong working relationship with key stakeholder groups across the BU & organization. Balances the needs and interests of multiple internal and external stakeholders (Account teams, Digital Sales, Inside Accounts and Scientific Affairs) • Builds partnerships and works collaboratively with others to meet shared objectives • Effectively execute the Veterinary Business Unit sales strategy • Ability to work in a cross-functional team-based environment. Adept at working in highly fluid, complex, and ever-changing environments • Conduct quarterly business reviews with Line Manager and routinely adjust the strategies, tactics, and investments based on changing needs to maximize territory performance • Budget and reporting: Manage an expense and sales budget.
