Field Calibration Technician

We are seeking a Field Calibration Technician to join our growing remote team. In this role, you’ll perform precise, high-quality calibrations at customer sites across diverse industries and locations. This is a field-based position that offers the chance to travel extensively, gain exposure to different environments, and build strong relationships with customers. Travel includes a mix of local day trips and overnight assignments, depending on project requirements. This is a unique opportunity to broaden your skills across multiple calibration disciplines while working directly with customers and representing our organization in the field. Key Responsibilities: - Perform calibrations in accordance with company procedures and applicable standards (ISO/IEC 17025, ISO9001, AS9100, ANZ540. - Support a wide range of calibration disciplines with opportunities to cross-train and expand expertise. - Accurately document calibration results with full compliance and traceability. - Maintain calibration standards and report equipment issues as needed. - Travel to customer sites, balancing local assignments with occasional overnight trips. - Set up and support mobile calibration workstations and onsite labs. - Communicate effectively with customers on service progress, technical needs, and scheduling. Partner with supervisors and teammates to ensure projects are completed on time. - Engage in cross-training to grow skills across multiple disciplines. - Share feedback to improve service delivery and customer experience. - Adhere to safety protocols, SOPs, and calibration standards. - Participate in audits, compliance checks, and continuous improvement efforts (5S, Kaizen). - Maintain professional, audit-ready workspaces. Qualifications: - 1–3 years of calibration experience in a lab or field environment. - Experience with RF/GP calibration is preferred. - Willingness to travel for assignments (local and overnight) with company-covered expenses. - Familiarity with ISO/IEC 17025 and related calibration standards. - Strong attention to detail and ability to follow technical procedures. - Must have active and valid drivers license.
