The following position is to join our RTX Enterprise Services team: RTX has an opening for an Associate Director, Architecture Assurance Leader - Applications (Associate Director, Business Systems and Transformation) position. RTX Corporation is seeking a dynamic and experienced Architecture Assurance Leader to join our Corporate team. In this pivotal role, you will oversee and ensure that enterprise-wide architectural strategies, systems, and solutions align with the company’s overarching business objectives. As a corporate leader, you will work closely with senior executives, business units, and technology teams to deliver innovative, scalable, and secure architectural solutions that drive business outcomes. What You Will Do: - Lead architecture assurance initiatives across corporate functions to ensure alignment with RTX’s enterprise strategy, compliance with policies, and adherence to architectural principles. - Develop and enhance enterprise-wide architecture assurance frameworks, methodologies, and governance standards. - Serve as a trusted advisor to senior leadership by providing insights into architectural risks, opportunities, and innovations. - Conduct architecture reviews for key corporate programs and projects, ensuring alignment with business goals, regulatory requirements, and RTX's technology roadmap. - Collaborate with corporate IT, cybersecurity, and digital transformation teams to develop solutions that optimize efficiency, scalability, and security. - Identify and mitigate architectural risks, ensuring proactive planning and resolution. - Monitor emerging technologies and industry trends to inform architectural decisions and drive competitive advantage. - Provide mentorship to team members and foster a culture of continuous improvement and innovation within the corporate architecture team. - Prepare and present architecture assurance reports, metrics, and recommendations to executive leadership. - Travel: up to 5% Qualifications You Must Have: - Minimum of 12+ years’ experience in enterprise architect, architect assurance or systems engineering and a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) or related work experience and schooling in lieu of degree. - Expertise in architecture frameworks such as TOGAF, Zachman, or similar methodologies. - Proven track record of working in a highly matrixed, complex corporate environment and managing cross-functional teams. - Experience with Planview EA, Sparx EA, and ServiceNow. - Familiarity with corporate governance, regulatory frameworks, and compli - ance requirements. Qualifications We Prefer: - Certification in TOGAF, ArchiMate, or similar architecture frameworks. - Experience with enterprise systems integration and large-scale program management. - Familiarity with RTX’s corporate policies and business structure is an advantage. - RTX Certified Architect. - Knowledge of advancements in digital technologies such as AI, cloud computing, and cybersecurity. - Ability to Travel up to 5% Learn More & Apply Now!
