• Proactively and regularly maintain customer relationships • Manage relationships with all decision-makers in Purchasing and Engineering • Professionally document activities in Salesforce • Drive customer budgeting, develop account plans and monitor variances • Take early actions to meet or exceed financial targets • Acquire new customers and business and manage cross-selling opportunities • Lead customer negotiations and coordinate internal preparations with SCM, PM and other teams • Identify and capture new technical and commercial business opportunities, delivering solutions to customer challenges
Job Requirements
- University degree in Chemistry, a STEM field, or a technical vocational qualification in a relevant area
- Several years of professional experience in the lubricants industry, ideally including application engineering and hands-on sales experience
- Solid knowledge in price management, Salesforce usage, customer project support and the development of commercial and technical solutions
- Very good German and advanced English skills, and confident use of Salesforce and common IT applications
- Excellent communication skills, a growth-oriented mindset, team spirit, intercultural competence and a proactive, customer-focused working style
