We are seeking a highly skilled Data Engineer to join our team! They will be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining the infrastructure and pipelines that enable data collection, storage, and access for analysis and other applications. As well as transforming raw data into usable formats, ensuring data quality and security, and collaborating with various teams to support data-driven decision-making.  What to Expect: - Building and Maintaining Data Pipelines: Creating and managing the systems that move data from various sources to where it needs to be for analysis and other uses.  - Designing Data Architecture: Defining the structure and organization of data storage, including databases and data warehouses, ensuring optimal performance and scalability.  - Data Modeling: Creating and maintaining data models that represent how data is organized and related, supporting both analytical and operational needs.  - Data Quality Assurance: Implementing and maintaining processes to ensure data accuracy, consistency, and reliability.  - Data Security and Privacy: Implementing and enforcing policies and procedures to protect sensitive data and ensure compliance with regulations.  - Collaboration: Working closely with data scientists, analysts, and other stakeholders to understand their needs and deliver data solutions.  - Performance Optimization: Continuously monitoring and optimizing data systems for performance and efficiency.  - Staying Updated: Keeping abreast of new technologies and trends in data engineering to ensure the organization benefits from the latest advancements.  On a daily basis our Data Engineer: - ETL Processes: Building and optimizing Extract, Transform, Load (ETL) pipelines to move data between different systems.  - Data Validation: Implementing checks and tests to ensure data accuracy and consistency.  - Data Warehousing: Building and managing data warehouses to support business intelligence and reporting needs.  - Cloud Technologies: Utilizing cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud for data storage and processing.  - Big Data Technologies: Working with technologies like Hadoop, Spark, and Kafka to handle large volumes of data.  - Data Visualization: Developing tools and dashboards to present data insights to stakeholders.  What You Will Need: - 5+ years - Design and development of ETL and ELT solutions using SSIS, T-SQL, Azure Data Factory, Azure Data Flows, Azure Data Bricks, Azure Database, Azure Analysis Services, Tabular Models, and Power BI Fabric. - 5+ years - Experience with code editing and version controls using Microsoft Visual Studio, Azure Dev Ops, and SQL Server Management Studio. - 5+ years - Experience with solution design, code implementation, and version control of Azure and Microsoft products and services from abstract project requests and goals. - 5+ years - Experience with development under structure and naming standards. - 3+ years - Design and Development experience with Kimball and Inman style Data Warehouse structures. - 2+ years - Design and Development experience with third normal form database structures. - Strong self-management, internal solution validation, and team communication. Skills Preferred: - Design and Development experience with machine learning for forecasting, grouping, and anomaly detection - Knowledge and experience with UniBasic databases and coding languages - Design and Development experience with AI data querying and analysis - Knowledge and experience in Data extraction from API, Oracle, Unidata, Tecsys, Cosmos DB, and Json document.
