• Assesses local market conditions, identifies current and prospective sales opportunities and develops forecasts, financial objectives and business plans for the sales center. • Full financial management including budget, P&L, and sales center expenses. • Sales management of both inside and outside sales efforts, multi-channel marketing, price matrixing, support of sales promotions and coordination with preferred vendors. • Hires, trains, directs, and manages all sales center personnel involved with sales, customer service, accounts receivable, and warehouse operations. • Depending on the size of the sales center, may perform rather than manage others in these activities. • Accounts Receivable management including credit management, collections, and cash management. • Oversight of Operations including supporting corporate operations procedures, working with Operations managers and buyers to determine stock items and inventory targets, manages non-performing inventory, ensures compliance with all safety and governmental regulations, provides proper facilities management. • Entrepreneurial leadership to grow the business through new product development, customer and market development, complementary product marketing and strategic planning.
Role Description The IT Director is responsible for overseeing the development, implementation, and maintenance of the company’s information technology systems and infrastructure for the specific assigned team/project. This leadership role will align technology initiatives with organizational goals, manage IT staff, and ensure a secure and efficient technology environment that supports business operations and growth for the specific assigned team/project. Responsibilities - Develops and executes IT strategies aligned with business objectives for the assigned team/project. - Participates in long-term planning with senior management for IT investments and initiatives with direct reporting to the Senior Director of their department. - Leads, mentors, and develops the IT department staff of the specific team/project assigned. - Creates and manages departmental goals, policies, and procedures for the specific team/project assigned. - Oversees planning, implementation, and tracking of IT-related projects. Ensures projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget. - Manages and maintains enterprise systems, networks, and hardware. - Oversees data backup, disaster recovery, and business continuity planning. - Ensures compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and policies (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA). - Implements and maintains cybersecurity policies and best practices. - Negotiates contracts and manages relationships with technology vendors as assigned by the Senior Director of the assigned department. - Prepares and administers IT budgets, monitors expenditures, and optimizes costs. - Oversees helpdesk operations and ensures high-quality user support. - Communicates IT strategies and updates to non-technical stakeholders. Qualifications - Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (Master’s preferred). - 8+ years of progressive IT experience, with at least 3 years in a managerial or director-level role. - Demonstrable experience in IT infrastructure, project management, and cybersecurity. - Strong leadership, organizational, and people management skills. - Advanced technical knowledge of networks, enterprise systems, and cloud technologies. - Excellent verbal and written communication abilities. - Strategic thinking and problem-solving skills. Certifications (Preferred) - PMP, ITIL, CISSP, CISM, or related certifications. • Receive hands-on training across operations, management, and purchasing • Observe experienced employees to acquire knowledge of methods, procedures, and standards of performance for a successful sales center • Shadow contractors/builders, service/maintenance, and retail store customers to learn aspects of the swimming pool, irrigation, and landscaping businesses • Assist in pulling orders from the warehouse and transfers items between sales center locations • Perform cycle counts in the warehouse and compare numbers to inventory software to ensure accuracy • Learn Prelude inventory system/ADS shortcuts and screens • Assist with accounts receivable and accounts payable duties • Prepares and mails daily invoices and files pertinent paperwork in the correct files • Review the P&L with the sales center manager • Attend conference calls with Recruiters, MIT Program Manager and other Interns • Complete operations project(s) by the end of the internship • Other job duties and special operations projects as assigned
