Senior Technical Recruiter
Imagen Technologies
About Imagen Imagen Technologies is building the AI-enabled teleradiology practice of the future. We operate the first vertically integrated medical practice and AI development platform focused on reducing diagnostic error and giving radiologists superpowers through industry-leading AI solutions developed in-house. With over $200 million in funding from investors such as Google Ventures and some of the largest clinical networks in the country, we are rapidly expanding this platform across the U.S.—from 22 states and 2.7 million patients in 2025 to more than 35 states and over 5 million patients annually by 2027. We are the fastest-growing teleradiology group in the U.S., and by the end of 2026, we will have the fifth-largest practice in the country. About the Role To support Imagen’s ambitious growth goals and technical roadmap, the Talent Acquisition team is seeking a Senior Technical Recruiter to partner directly with our CTO, SVP of Engineering, and Product leadership to build the foundation of our technical organization. The Senior Technical Recruiter will own the full candidate life cycle, from sourcing to close across all our most critical technical verticals, including AI/ML, Software Engineering, and Product Management. The Senior Technical Recruiter will be Imagen’s technical talent expert, building robust proactive talent pipelines, providing insights on market dynamics and compensation, and offering guidance on assessment strategies. Responsibilities: - Own Imagen’s Technical Talent Portfolio: Drive the end-to-end recruitment lifecycle for high-impact technical roles ranging from Senior Software Engineers to ML Researchers to Engineering and Product Leadership. - Partner with Engineering Leaders: Act as a trusted advisor to CTO, SVP of Engineering and Head of Product. Don’t just take orders; leverage market intelligence, tech talent trends, and data-driven insights to shape role requirements and search strategies. - Execute Technical Sourcing: Go beyond LinkedIn. Utilize creative sourcing strategies (GitHub, Stack Overflow, Hugging Face, X-ray search) to identify and engage passive top-tier engineering talent. - Data-Driven Optimization: Treat your funnel like a product. Use data to track pass-through rates, identify bottlenecks in the technical interview process, and reduce time-to-hire without sacrificing quality. - Champion Imagen’s Technical Brand: Represent Imagen in the tech community, ensuring candidates understand our unique tech stack and the complexity of the problems we are solving in healthcare AI. - Close Complexity: Manage complex negotiations involving equity and varying compensation structures, ensuring a high close rate for in-demand technical talent. - Be a Mentor: Be a leader on the Talent Acquisition team, developing junior recruiters and rolling out best practices across the entire Talent Acquisition team. Required Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree with a strong academic record. - 3+ years of Technical Recruiting experience: A proven track record of hiring Software Engineers (Frontend, Backend, Full Stack), Data Scientists, or ML Engineers in a competitive market. - Tech Fluency: Can speak the language. Knows the difference between Java and JavaScript, understands what a "modern stack" looks like, and can credibly screen candidates for technical aptitude before they speak to a hiring manager. - Sourcing Sophistication: Doesn’t rely solely on inbound applicants, enjoys the thrill of finding the "purple squirrel" candidate. - Stakeholder Management: You have experience partnering with senior engineering leaders and are comfortable pushing back to ensure the bar remains high. - Process Rigor: You are highly organized and can manage a high volume of candidates and data integrity within the ATS (e.g., Greenhouse, Ashby, Lever). Preferred Qualifications: - Experience running diverse, non-technical searches from entry to Executive levels. - Has operated within a high-growth environment. Imagen Technologies is a remote-first company and this job is conducted remotely. The base salary for the position is between $110,000 - $170,000 plus equity. Please note that the range is a guideline, and individual total compensation will vary based on factors such as qualifications, skill level, competencies, and work location. Imagen is committed to the principle of equal employment opportunity for all employees and applicants for employment and prohibits discrimination and harassment of any kind without regard to race, color, religion, age, sex, national origin, disability status, genetics, protected veteran status, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, or any other characteristic protected by federal, state or local laws. Imagen will not tolerate discrimination or harassment based on any of these characteristics.
