Your Day to Day - Product Strategy & Roadmap: Own and develop the short and long-term product vision, aligning cloud and data platform features with company needs and customer requirements. - Technical Partnerships: Collaborate with data engineering, DevOps, and infrastructure teams on AWS and Databricks initiatives. Leverage your knowledge of infrastructure-as-code, CI/CD, and cloud best practices in product decisions. - Product Requirements & Delivery: Gather requirements, write user stories, and drive execution for features that empower analytics, governance, and data-driven automation. - Platform Operations: Work with technical leads to improve reliability, observability, security, and cost efficiency of the data platform. Prioritize enhancements to networking, IAM, pipeline optimization, and compliance. - Customer & Stakeholder Focus: Deeply understand user needs and translate them into actionable product roadmap items. Champion product discovery, stakeholder engagement, and clear communication with technical and non-technical teams. - Results & Metrics: Define and measure impact through platform usage, performance, adoption, and operational efficiency metrics. - Team Mentorship: Coach and develop product team members, supporting a high-performance and growth-oriented culture. What We’re Looking For - 5+ years’ experience in product management or owning platform/data infrastructure, ideally with cloud-based and/or analytics products. - Experience launching products/features for data platforms (AWS, Databricks, data lakes, ETL pipelines, or equivalent technologies). - Strong technical literacy: capable of meaningful discussion with engineers on subjects like infrastructure-as-code (Terraform/CloudFormation), cloud security/IAM, CI/CD, and data cost optimization. - Proven success translating complex requirements into actionable roadmap and partnering with engineering to deliver measurable outcomes. - Experience in large-scale SaaS, platform tools, or high-volume data environments. - Bachelor’s or master’s in computer science, Engineering, Business, or related field, or equivalent practical experience. Nice to Have - Hands-on familiarity with Databricks (Delta Lake, Jobs, performance tuning, etc.) or similar platforms. - Experience with Kubernetes/EKS, Spark, orchestration frameworks, and observability tools from a product perspective. - Previous work with global or distributed teams. Job Description We seek an experienced Outbound Product Management lead for our Data and Analytics Product Ecosystem to define our product vision and manage relationships with our expanding set of technology partners. You will co-define and execute our product strategy with these partners to establish ServiceNow as a leader in the Data and Analytics marketplace.
