Billing Compliance Analyst
Crowell & Moring
• Support the firm’s billing function by ensuring accuracy and compliance with client outside counsel guidelines • Review time during the month of entry • Identify non-compliant entries and necessary edits • Develop and implement technology-driven solutions, including AI • Streamline billing operations and optimize timekeeping practices • Assist the Senior Compliance Manager in Ad Hoc requests and projects • Organize and lead periodic meetings with stakeholders
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree, preferably in accounting, finance, or another related field
- Experience reviewing legal time entries for compliance required
- Experience in providing instruction on time entry best practices preferred
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong organizational and time-management skills
- Basic understanding of accounting principles and billing processes
- Proficiency in editing time entries using Elite 3E or similar legal billing systems
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
