As a Solution Engineer, you will be responsible for the technical relationships within some of our large-scale enterprise and premier customers. You will support the sales teams technically, in sales motions, whilst also proactively helping drive adoption and consumption of Omnissa products and solutions within existing customers. As the trusted advisor to these accounts, you will be responsible for helping to shape and influence the long-term future of their digital workspace strategies. Here is a breakdown - Engage regularly with technology decision makers in your customers, building long term business relationships, and evangelizing Omnissa solutions. - Enable and manage your existing customers to get the best value out of their Omnissa products, ensuring they have access to the correct resources, and ensuring they are keeping up to date with our solutions. - Deliver bespoke technical enablement, product update, and technology roadmap sessions to new and existing customers where required. - Track and support your sales opportunities. Working with your Account team, ensure that all opportunities are technically validated by ensuring the proposed solution will meet the customers requirements. This may also include conducting proof of concepts, RFP/RFI responses, solution demonstrations and technical workshops. - Craft and propose customer solutions that differentiate Omnissa software and services, and meet the customers’ requirements and objectives, and where required demonstrate our competitive advantages. - Develop and maintain an in-depth technical knowledge of Omnissa products and solutions. - Support the Omnissa marketing team, helping with marketing events when required to do so. This may include public speaking at industry events and delivering webinar content for example. - Assist customers with product queries and provide an escalation path to customers for support issues. What will you bring to Omnissa - Fluent Arabic & English – Both written and spoken. - Desirable: 3+ years EUC (End User Computing) Pre Sales experience or 5+ years EUC as a technology delivery consultant. - Possess a strong knowledge of Enterprise Architecture with a background in either the customer or partner landscape. - Experience in desktop management. This may include Windows, macOS, Linux or ChromeOS. - Experience with mobile device platforms, including Android, iOS, and iPadOS. - Knowledge of Active Directory and Identity and Access Management systems - You will be immensely capable, proactive, an excellent communicator with a can-do attitude and will adapt to change with a real passion for the EUC technology space. - Strong presentation skills as well as the ability to build and present high-quality product demonstrations to both technical and executive audiences. - Excellent listening, reasoning, and objection handling skills. - You should be effective at working independently and as part of a team. - Experience with configuring and deploying some of the following: - Mobile Device Platforms (Omnissa Workspace One, Microsoft Intune, Ivanti, SOTI), - Physical Desktop Management (Omnissa Workspace One, Microsoft Intune, Ivanti) - DaaS / SaaS Services (Omnissa Horizon Cloud, Microsoft AVD(W365), Amazon Workspaces Core, Citrix) Location: Saudi Arabia Location Type: REMOTE Travel Expectations: Travel is required up to 30% of the time, with the ability to travel around Europe and USA when required for industry events or internal events. This position allows the candidate to work remotely, but they must reside within a reasonable commuting distance of the Greater Kansas City area in order to support local projects. Orbital Engineering’s Utility Services Department partners with Utility and Communication Companies in Engineering and Construction operations for Joint Use Pole Attachment Programs (JU) and Distribution Engineering Design Projects. This position will directly support projects within the Utility Services Department’s pole attachment application process and utility distribution design process. Essential Functions - Prepare and develop distribution voltage construction packages for both overhead and underground projects, including distribution equipment installation, feeder replacement, cable replacement, and pole replacements as part of an infrastructure improvement program - Assist with distribution line design 2.4kV - 34kV - Work with Designers and Engineers to prepare new drawings, modify existing drawings, or create as-built documents - Assist in the preparation of proposals, engineering/project cost estimates, and execution schedules - Provide technical support for customers and support regional business development initiatives - Provide quality reviews of work prepared by others and adhere to the QA/QC process - Prepare calculations and assist with equipment specifications - Evaluate loading of various equipment components being installed such as transformers and structural loading of poles to ensure a cost-effective, safe and reliable design utilizing client specifications. - Visually identify, inspect, and record equipment and different construction situations in the field, including rights-of-way - Apply National Electric Safety Code (NESC) Standards, Client Standards, Federal, State or Local Municipal Guidelines, and/or other applicable guidelines to complete engineering designs (Pole Replacements, Communication Space Rearrangements, Joint-Use Design) for possible joint-use or make-ready construction - Ability to analyze field collected data (including imagery) and accurately update applicable software packages for successful design implementation - Regularly utilizes Client proprietary software packages or equipment to complete daily responsibilities in the engineering design workflow process, may include facilitating new attachment permitting process - Accountable for work assigned and responsible for completing work on project schedule and within project budget while regularly communicating status with management team - Frequently communicates with Client(s) on engineering design to best determine the most cost-effective solution for their project - Provides timely and detailed documentation and support to Orbital accounting functions for ensuring projects are on budget and appropriately accounted - Transcribe notes, use measuring devices to identify, inspect, and record the data which is found in an organized manner - As needed, must be able to work in all weather conditions and in residential, commercial, and industrial areas - Work is primarily remote/office based, but fieldwork may be needed throughout the engineering design process - Must be willing to travel overnight or for extended periods of time, based on project assignment - Will be required to attend meetings at clients’ sites and regularly interact with the general public, including landowners and operators Other Duties Please note that this job posting does not list all duties and responsibilities that are required of this job.
