Field Marketing Manager
Akamai Technologies
• Developing a deep understanding of Akamai's cloud and AI strategy, and aligning marketing initiatives with North America Cloud sales leadership • Building and executing a cloud and AI marketing strategy that acquires new contacts, nurtures them through the funnel, and converts contacts into qualified sales pipeline • Driving cloud and AI-focused demand generation across the U.S. • Coordinating cloud and AI marketing strategy and execution across regional and global Akamai marketing teams to optimize funnel performance • Designing and packaging scalable, sales-led demand generation programs-including digital campaigns, field events, and account-based marketing (ABM) • Planning and executing integrated cloud and AI demand programs across the U.S. • Creating clear, data-driven reporting to track KPIs, analyze ROI, and demonstrate business impact on pipeline and revenue • Communicating marketing plans, execution progress, and program results to sales, product, and marketing stakeholders on a regular basis
Job Requirements
- 8 years of relevant experience and a Bachelors degree in Marketing, business, computer science or a related field
- Have experience in B2B marketing with a proven track record of building and accelerating pipeline through multi-channel demand generation strategies
- Have experience in a cloud-focused organization (public cloud, cloud infrastructure, AI cloud, or related technology)
- Be familiar with the AI industry landscape, including AI applications, LLMs, AI agents, and AI infrastructure/hardware trends
- Have a passion for exploring and developing Akamai's cloud opportunities within AI-driven use cases
- Have strong analytical skills with data-driven approach to decision-making and optimization
- Have proficiency Salesforce and familiarity with modern marketing technology stacks
- Have a proactive, self-motivated mindset with the ability to learn quickly and operate effectively in a fast-evolving market
