Account Executive
Cambium Learning Group
• Serve as a strategic liaison and sales leader, responsible for cultivating and managing relationships with state departments of education • Develop conference strategy and represent Lexia at conferences and partner events • Drive the full sales cycle for state-level opportunities, including planning, presentations, proposals, and contract negotiations • Deliver compelling presentations that communicate Lexia’s value proposition • Facilitate cross-functional teams to align internal deliverables with customer expectations
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree required; advanced degree in Education, Policy, or related field preferred
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in state-level education agencies, sales, policy, or leadership roles is highly preferred
- Deep comprehension of state education policy, funding mechanisms, and government operations
- Demonstrated success in sales, particularly in navigating complex sales cycles and securing education-related contracts at the state level
- Excellent organization, presentation, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
- Confidence and ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic team environment
- Proficiency with Salesforce, Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, and virtual collaboration tools
- Ability to travel extensively while maintaining high productivity through virtual engagement.
