Enterprise Architect
US Foods
• Provides advanced expertise in multiple technologies • Develops or leads highly sophisticated architectures • Works with IT and business leadership in the development of key organizational strategies • Provides vision and pragmatic expertise to the planning process • Directs changes to the I/T organization and processes • Identifies and prioritizes opportunities • Ensures the use of industry and enterprise technology standards • Leads architecture design that is scalable to the enterprise • Develops publications and educates value-stream architects • Manages and/or facilitates Review Boards to evaluate project proposals • Partners with business and technology subject-matter experts • Mentors and guides less experienced architects • Communicates "big picture" to Business and IT stakeholders at all levels
Job Requirements
- BS/BA in computer science or related
- Masters degree desirable
- Certifications in web-based technologies, Cloud and project management a plus
- 10+ years of IT architecture, or data experience, or software development and project management experience using waterfall and agile methods
- At least 3 years of leadership experience in Architecture Strategy, Roadmap, and technologies
- Experience in domain-specific architecture concepts and emerging technologies
- Experience creating and promoting guiding development principles
- Experience leading enterprise architecture frameworks such as TOGAF.
- Significant experience (2-3 years or more) in the Agile development process.
- Experience with product team models and collaboration with enterprise architecture.
- Experience with database technologies including Oracle, JDBC, SQL, NoSQL, Data grid etc.
- Experience architecting Cloud or SaaS applications.
