Account Manager, Pediatric Endocrinology

• Candidates Must Reside Within the Manhattan, NY Area • Under limited supervision, the Account Manager- PE is responsible for achieving sales objectives in assigned territory through the development, maintenance, and enhancement of the business • Develop territory business plans and work with the sales management team to maximize the impact of sales and marketing plans and tactics • Create, maintain and increase sales within designated territory by influencing the prescribing habits of the targeted audience by calling on health care providers and health-related organizations within assigned territory • Attend and represent the Company at internal company meetings and external trade shows, community events, etc, as appropriate • Manage usage and inventory of promotional items to be given away to offices • Complete routine reports and be compliant with industry, regulatory and company guidelines and prepare annual business plans and conduct quarterly analysis of the territory performance vs. plan
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in science, business or related field
- Consistent and proven track record of exceeding sales quotas
- 5 or more years of successful independent pharmaceutical and/or business-to-business sales experience, Pediatric Endocrinology, Rare Disease and/or Buy and Bill sales experience preferred
- Reside within the territory and willingness to cover the entire assigned geographical sales space
- Pharmacy sales experience is preferred, including Specialty Pharmacy, Health System Based Pharmacies etc.
- Clinical experience helpful.

It is expected that our sales force is 'in the field' calling on customers from 8:00am to 5:00pm each day.
