The RoleLeafLink seeks a results-driven Account Executive to help expand our revenue acquisition team. In this role, you will be driving revenue acquisition through the sourcing of net-new customers and solution specific sales to existing customers. You’ll become fluent in speaking to our marketplace platforms, advertising solutions, financial services products, and data insight tools. You will be instrumental in demonstrating value and growing adoption of our platform and product suite with cannabis businesses and support their scaling efforts in a highly regulated industry. You will focus on all sizes of customers, providing customized solutions that address their unique business needs. Success in this role requires sales expertise, a strong understanding of highly regulated industries, and a collaborative approach with cross-functional teams. The CompanyLeafLink is a technology platform and wholesale cannabis commerce ecosystem. It’s been trusted by buyers and sellers in 34 markets since 2016 and supports billions of dollars of sales every year. The LeafLink ecosystem of services include Leaf Trade, a cannabis ecommerce platform utilized in a number of markets and by large multi-state operators, and Dama Financial, a banking services provider with solutions and features built specifically for the needs of cannabis businesses. Collectively, this suite of products help our customers operate more efficiently across every aspect of their business. What You’ll Be Doing - Selling our platforms and suite of solutions to cannabis businesses that are new to the industry, to a specific market, or to our platforms. You will also prospect for existing customers to sell our stand alone features to, such as banking, advertising, and analytics. - Identify and build relationships with Director, VP, and C-level executives and other senior decision makers across cannabis brands and operators - Be the voice of the customer to help shape future features, solutions, and services - Work closely with product, compliance, and relationship management teams to deliver top-notch service and satisfaction to clients - Develop pitch narratives and iterate on existing sales strategies with the help of your sales teammates and cross-functional support. - Leverage our internal data and available resources to identify leads, network with prospects, build your pipeline, and develop your sales strategy. - Demonstrate the key functions of our platforms and solutions, highlighting the critical value propositions that differentiate our solutions from other platforms and offerings - Stay updated on trends and regulations in the cannabis industry to proactively address client challenges, speak to their needs, and highlight how we can address them. - Engage in customer discovery and consultative sales tactics to develop a better understanding of prospect needs and tailor your sales strategy accordingly - Employ critical thinking and creative problem-solving skills to navigate relationships and difficult partner conversations What You’ll Bring to the Team - 3-5 years of sales experience - ideally in SaaS, FinTech, and/or cannabis. Other industries and/or sales experience that is both consultative and requires selling multiple stakeholders are also acceptable. - You have experience and/or a strong interest in start-up environments : change is your only constant, no challenge is too big, and no task is too small. Experience in complex and high regulated industries will help candidates be successful in this role. - Experience managing and prioritizing day-to-day activities around a pipeline of deals, inbound leads, and outbound prospecting - Proven track-record creating successful deals and executing B2B sales contracts - Excellent cross-group collaboration skills, ability to impact and influence outcomes across teams - Proven experience in weaving together your discovery of a prospect to pinpoint their challenges and opportunities for success with our suite of solutions and value propositions. - Excellent written and verbal communication skills - Must demonstrate the ability to understand and articulate our growing suite of products and solutions related to cannabusiness operations - inventory management, sales, operations, financial services, advertising, banking services, analytics and insights, and compliance.
