Inside Sales Representative (ISR) Company: Everfox Department: Federal Sales Location: Herndon, VA/ DC Area Overview The Inside Sales Representative (ISR) at Everfox plays a critical role in driving revenue growth and expanding customer relationships across the federal market. This role is responsible for managing the full remote sales cycle, converting qualified leads into customers, and supporting the growth and retention of Everfox’s installed customer base. The ISR role focuses 75% on account management and customer expansion and 25% on prospecting and top-of-funnel lead generation. The ISR collaborates closely with Everfox Account Executives (AEs), Sales Engineers, Channel Partners, and internal teams to drive successful outcomes across the sales process. Success in this role is measured through revenue generation, deal close rates, pipeline development, and customer retention. At Everfox, ISRs are closers who manage opportunities end-to-end, taking qualified leads often generated by marketing or business development—and converting them into paying customers while strengthening long-term customer relationships. What You Will Be Doing Account Management & Revenue Growth (Primary Focus – 75%) - Manage and grow a portfolio of Everfox federal customer accounts, focusing on retention, expansion, and long-term relationship development. - Drive upsell and cross-sell opportunities across the Everfox product and services portfolio. - Maintain strong relationships with customers by responding to requests, resolving issues, and providing ongoing engagement. - Partner with the Everfox federal sales team to analyze customer health, identify risks for churn, and proactively expand accounts. - Represent Everfox as the primary sales contact for assigned accounts, territories, or industries. - Present Everfox solutions to C-level executives, technical leaders, and reseller partners through compelling demonstrations and product overviews. - Maintain and grow the Everfox installed customer base by identifying upgrade and expansion opportunities. - Conduct post-sale follow-ups and periodic customer check-ins to ensure satisfaction and long-term value realization. Sales Execution & Deal Management - Partner with Everfox Account Executives (AEs) and internal teams to streamline and close transactional deals under $150K. - Own and manage opportunities through the sales cycle until handoff to an AE at the Proof and Validation stage. - Update opportunity stages, MEDDPICC, and Deal Board fields during the sales cycle as directed by AEs. - Collaborate with Deal Management, Quoting Operations, and Order Fulfillment teams on pricing, proposals, renewals, and order processing. - Provide budgetary quotes, manage opportunity-level quoting updates, and log purchase orders. - Assist AEs with quarterly pipeline management and forecasting activities. - Prepare activity reports and sales forecasts for Everfox sales leadership. Lead Qualification & Prospecting (25%) - Manage inbound leads and conduct qualification calls with prospects. - Engage potential customers to understand mission priorities and position Everfox cybersecurity and mission solutions effectively. - Conduct initial discovery calls and coordinate technical discovery sessions with Sales Engineers, including architectural discussions and product demonstrations. - Secure NDAs where required and guide prospects through early-stage engagement. - Collaborate with Regional Directors and ISR Sales Manager to strategically target new opportunities within assigned territories. - Follow up with leads to nurture relationships and support long-term pipeline development for Everfox. Channel & Partner Engagement - Establish and maintain relationships with Everfox channel partners and resellers. - Support reseller communications throughout the sales process. - Partner with Sales Leaders and Channel Managers to develop strategic approaches to territory growth. Operational Excellence - Maintain accurate and up-to-date customer and sales data in Salesforce CRM, including activities, contacts, accounts, and opportunity status. - Ensure accurate logging of all sales activities, customer interactions, and lead updates. - Maintain accurate account records to support Everfox forecasting and reporting processes. - Participate in marketing initiatives including seminars, webinars, and trade shows when needed. - Contribute to team meetings by sharing insights, best practices, and sales improvement initiatives. - Recommend improvements to Everfox customer engagement, sales tools, and retention processes.
