Responsible for implementing and troubleshooting automation systems, electrical monitoring and control systems, devices, and communications systems while working under the guidance of an experienced team. MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS Education: Enrollment in or completion of a Certificate/Associate/Bachelor's program in a Technical Field, related to Engineering, or Control Systems or equivalent Experience: None Travel: Up to 75% Work Schedule: This position works between the hours of 6 am and 6 pm, Monday through Friday. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES - Focuses on the deployment of Electrical Power Monitoring Systems (EPMS) and Building Management Systems (BMS) at data center facilities. - Responsibilities for this position include performing software installation, customization, and start-up services; start-up, commissioning, and troubleshooting of electrical power monitoring equipment, control devices, and communication systems - Configures, troubleshoots, and commissioning of EPMS/BMS software and controls - Documents the as-built system and providing commissioning results - Knowledge of electrical fundamentals as well as with electrical equipment. - Ability to technically troubleshoot network communications (IP Addresses and being able to find devices on a network). - Desire to learn new technologies - Excellent verbal and written communication skills. - Ability to work effectively in a group setting, team-oriented, self-motivated, and results-driven. - Performs other related duties as required and assigned. Your Profile You hold a Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Méchanical, Computer, Mechatronics Engineering, and have proven experience in a similar role, ideally in the robotics or automation field. Fluency in English is required. Proficiency in Malay, Vietnamese or Mandarin is a significant advantage for daily client communication. Your Technical Skills: ● Solid understanding of industrial automation concepts, including robot kinematics, controllers, sensors, and safety systems. ● Proficient in CAD software for mechanical and electrical design (e.g., SolidWorks). ● Experience with robot simulators and PLCs is highly desirable. ● Strong programming ability, ideally in Python, with hands-on experience using APIs and version control systems (e.g., Git) is highly desirable. ● Excellent communicator, capable of translating complex technical information into accessible content. ● Customer-focused mindset with a collaborative spirit for cross-functional work. ● Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities. ● Experience organizing logistics for technical events or equipment deployments is a plus. Job Overview The Application Engineer operates within the Taiwan product team and is united in direction through developing a thorough understanding of Fluke T&M equipment and market areas.
