Acuity
• You will play a strategic role as an SSE, acting as the technical reference and solution architect for Distech Controls to support the sales team and the integrator ecosystem. • In collaboration with the sales team, you will be responsible for the technical relationship with customers and will perform occasional on-site activities. • You will accompany the sales team during presentations and demonstrations of Distech Controls solutions to our customers. • You will run meetings, in person or remotely, for integrators, engineering consultancies and end customers on technical developments, solution design and the introduction of new products. • You will support and assist integrators on initial projects and specific strategic projects. • You will design content and deliver information sessions and presentations in collaboration with the sales team across the country. • The experience gained through your interaction with product management and R&D teams will enable you to share your expertise with the sales, technical support and training teams. • You will be actively involved in commercial events and product launches.
Job Requirements
- You are an engineer or equivalent with 5 years of experience in Building Management Systems (BMS) and their automation systems (BACS).
- You have skills in control engineering and building controller programming.
- Experience with Distech Controls solutions is a plus.
- You are proficient with supervisory software and communication protocols for BMS systems (BACnet, Modbus, LonWorks, etc.).
- You have knowledge of IoT and IT protocols: APIs, REST, JSON, MQTT, IoT Hub, Node-RED, Postman, etc.
- You have knowledge of computer networking and cybersecurity standards.
- You manage projects autonomously and in an organized manner.
- You have an analytical mindset that enables you to connect field-identified needs with solution improvements in collaboration with product management and R&D teams.
- You have excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- A good level of English is essential to thrive within the organization.
- You are recognized for your pedagogical approach, your ability to work in a team and to manage internal and external priorities, such as handling customer emergency situations.

The mission of the GSI Sales Engineer (SE) at LogicMonitor is to support the technical evaluation of LogicMonitor by proving out value in the platform to our prospects in the pre-sales process. The SE is also looked at as a product expert within the sales organization. Sales Engineers have the critical function to train the entire sales organization both as part of onboarding and also regularly on the LM product to ensure the appropriate level of product and technical knowledge for the sales team to be most successful. Here's a closer look at this key role: - Perform SE duties on trial calls as scheduled by AEs, including technically understanding prospect needs and supporting AEs with requests to perform technical product demos. - Trial optimization (proactively adding dashboards, creating sample reports, etc. for all trial prospects). - Lead technical/product training for new sales personnel on an ongoing basis. - Provide day-to-day product/technical support for trial prospects. - Log meetings and technical notes in SalesForce pertaining to the POV for each call (or onsite) with the customer. - Demonstrate the technical aspects of how the product solves specific customer problems, translating specific customer problems into technical solutions. - Identify all technical issues of assigned accounts to assure complete customer satisfaction through all stages of the sales process.
