Job Summary Produces qualified illustrations and provides presale support to meet producer objectives in a timely manner.Job Description ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Following is a summary of the essential functions for this job. Specific activities may change from time to time. - Provide product and carrier information to the producer groups as well as internal staff. - Maintain detailed product and financial knowledge on all carriers. - Develop a working knowledge of important software packages (internal and carrier) - Run appropriate illustrations based on knowledge of the competitive life insurance environment - Provide producers with illustrations and other marketing materials they may need - Proactively follow-up on all presale activity - Document requested illustrations for sales follow-up utilizing a CRM system - Participate in educational development to gain an understanding of the competitive market, product, and industry trends via internal and carrier training - Maintain departmental illustration workflows and SLA's on phone and illustration turnaround time QUALIFICATIONS Required Qualifications: The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill and/or ability required. • Carry out industrial market sales growth plan for Fluid and Motion Control solutions in industrial manufacturing, power, data center, dust collector, heavy industrial, HVAC, infrastructure and others • Responsible to lead & grow large OEM, EPC, End User, Integrator, Channel relationships, and opportunities • Identify key partners within the target accounts organization, who will have an influence on a developing opportunity • Engage with strategic targets that promote growth with key USER accounts and develop relationships within Fluid and Motion Control • Document via CRM or Emerson account management documentation, account details, personnel, and organization makeup within target accounts • Train and be the segment lead on Emerson technologies being sold in Fluid and Motion Control applications • Coordinate with local, regional, and global contacts on opportunities, specification influence, and market initiatives • Primary contact for Regional Sales along with collaboration regionally on strategies, global engagement, and programs to support near-term/mid-term growth for our Fluid and Motion Control business • Coordinate with marketing on providing competitive analysis and new product development opportunities • Provide a high-level overview of activities internally to the management team, being an advocate for target customers to gain internal support and required resources.
• Align with Senior RSMs in the field: • Collaborate closely with Senior RSMs in your assigned regions to understand channel needs and align sales strategies accordingly. • Maintain regular communication with Senior RSMs to ensure alignment of sales goals and customer requirements. • Support in the Enterprise: • Provide sales support for enterprise-level accounts, ensuring high customer satisfaction and engagement, as needed. • Assist in the development and execution of enterprise sales strategies. • Support the Management of Reseller Accounts: • Assist the Regional Sales Managers with specific channel accounts, driving sales activities and ensuring targets are set and met. • Build strong relationships with channel partners to foster long-term collaboration. • Ensure all sellers know and understand Genea and our core value propositions. • Build an operating model with Senior RSMs for day-to-day interactions: • Develop and implement an operating model for daily/weekly interactions with RSMs to streamline communication and coordination. • Ensure that processes and workflows are optimized for efficiency and effectiveness. • Manage opportunities and provide forecasts: • Track and manage sales opportunities throughout the sales cycle. • Provide accurate sales forecasts to support business planning and decision-making for SaaS, HW and Setup fees. • Closing Opportunities: • Drive the closing process for sales opportunities, ensuring all necessary steps are completed to secure deals. • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address any obstacles to closing. • Achieve monthly, quarterly and annual individual sales targets; as well as support the broader enterprise Security sales team with meeting its overall sales targets. • Quoting Opportunities: • Prepare and deliver accurate and competitive quotes to resale partners • Ensure all quotes are aligned with company policies and pricing strategies. • Account Management: • Serve as the primary point of contact for existing customers in assigned regions. • Manage expansions and upsell opportunities by uncovering additional needs and use cases. • Troubleshoot issues and resolve escalations quickly to keep accounts stable and supported. • Coordinate internally as needed to get customers timely answers and keep deployments moving. • Build and maintain strong relationships with reseller and channel partners. • Track account activity and expansions within CRM.
