We’re a one-of-a-kind marketplace for buying and selling special objects. Each week, more than 110,000 unique items are auctioned, all carefully curated by our passionate in-house experts. Having sold over 25 million unique objects, our mission is to become the world’s most popular destination for special objects. As a growing, diverse and sustainable scale-up, we proudly live by three core values. If these values resonate with you, we’d love to explore how you can join us. - Taking ownership and driving impact - Being open to change and feedback - Being passionate about our mission and our customers. Your Mission As Sales Representative for the DACH region, you drive the acquisition and growth of strategic art sellers, with a focus on Germany. You lead commercial discussions with galleries, dealers and artists, structure high-value deals and build long-term partnerships that strengthen Catawiki’s position in a key European art market. Your impact is measured by GMV growth, deal quality and the strength of the seller portfolio you build and manage. What You’ll Do - Own and grow a portfolio of strategic art sellers across Germany and the wider DACH region, with clear mid- and long-term GMV and quality targets - Identify and convert high-value prospects through market mapping, AI-supported data matching, outbound outreach, in-person meetings and presence at fairs and events - Manage pipeline and forecasting, prioritising high-impact opportunities and reporting expected revenue and conversion - Structure and negotiate complex commercial agreements, including single-seller auctions and incentive models - Collaborate closely with Art Experts to align on sourcing strategy, lot selection and seller development - Use CRM, data and AI tools to guide commercial decisions and optimise performance What You’ll Bring - Fluency in German and English - At least 5 years of experience in Sales or Account Management with revenue targets and KPI ownership - Proven track record of growing GMV, acquiring strategic sellers and driving outbound business development - Strong negotiation skills and confidence closing complex commercial deals with senior stakeholders - Strategic and autonomous working style, with strong organisation and prioritisation skills - Data literacy and ability to translate performance metrics into concrete commercial actions - Experience with CRM and data tools such as HubSpot, Looker Studio, Google Workspace and AI tools, based in a major German city and willing to travel across Europe Why you’ll enjoy this role - Ownership of the German / DACH market: build long-term partnerships with galleries, art dealers and artists across Germany and neighbouring markets. - Real commercial responsibility: you own your pipeline and structure commercial incentives for top-tier sellers. - Clear impact: you are responsible for KPIs that matter (GMV, sell rate, average lot value) and regularly share results with leadership. - Market-facing role with support: budget management for fairs, events and travel to build strong local relationships and competitive intelligence. - Straightforward, international culture: clear responsibilities, pragmatic decision-making and room to shape Catawiki’s Art strategy in the DACH region. Where You’ll Be This is a 100% remote role based in Germany. Why You'll Love Working with Us - Create a visible impact by working at scale in a global organisation serving millions of customers across 80+ categories. In our flat structure, every role has a broad scope and directly impacts both our customers and the business. - Learn and grow through our Learning & Development initiatives, including clear development plans and mentorship programmes to support your career progression. - A culture of connection defines us. We foster an inclusive and queer-friendly environment where everyone is encouraged to bring their full self to work. - Celebrate life’s moments with us. We also offer additional leave for key work anniversaries and important life events. Benefits may vary by location. Our Offices and Way of Working Our vibrant offices in Amsterdam, Paris and Lisbon are designed to inspire collaboration.
