Digital Sales Leader

• Responsible for the sales of our nanoparticle catalog products primarily by using telephone and digital tools • Prospecting net new customers in the academic and diagnostic segments as well as other fields of research and development • Maintaining effective customer relations and developing opportunities for growth within an existing customer base • Assuring market penetration and profitability while achieving sales and profit forecasts • Act in a mentoring capacity to support the career development of other colleagues • Focus on ‘hunting’ for new business opportunities to increase reoccurring revenues in assigned territory • Meeting or exceeding a defined sales plan and forecast sales performance accurately • Making daily outbound telephone calls and communicating via email to all organizational levels and functional areas in accounts where purchasing decisions are made • Capitalizing on training opportunities to develop in-depth knowledge of product offerings to proactively uncover new opportunities within assigned accounts to generate revenue growth • Developing organizational skills to work within cross-functional teams to achieve organizational objectives and managing sales territory activities • Understanding the competitive landscape within accounts to position product offerings to customers • Communicating key competitive activities, market trends, and changing customer directions to the organization • Utilizing data sources to analyze and develop sales opportunities with greatest ROI • Supporting marketing programs as assigned by the Sales Manager • Completing assigned tasks and reports in a timely and complete manner while maximizing productivity during key selling time
Job Requirements
- 2-4 years of sales experience preferred
- Successful track record in applicable field
- Digital / Inside Sales experience required
- Bachelor’s degree in the sciences preferred or equivalent work experience
- Background in Biology, Chemistry, or Molecular and Immune Dx experience preferred
- Must have an understanding of immunoassays
- Understanding Lateral Flow Assays is a plus!
- Strong interpersonal, oral and written communication, and presentation skills
- Proven record of establishing goals and achieving results
- Computer proficiency in MS Office and the internet
- Must possess a strong desire to serve the customer
- Must deliver excellent customer service
- Must possess the organizational skills to multi-task and meet deadlines as needed
