Job Description
Partnerships Manager
EMERSE Sales
• Take direct ownership of a defined book of existing brand licensees as their primary day-to-day point of contact: running the relationship, not just maintaining it. • Drive revenue growth within the book: work with partners to understand their upcoming assortments and product innovations. • Run quarterly business reviews with each of your accounts. • Manage inbound partner inquiries from initial contact through early vetting. • Run initial discovery conversations with nascent prospects. • Support the VP of BD across the deal cycle on active new licensee opportunities. • Support contract review and red-line cycles for new and renewing licensees.
Job Requirements
- 3–6 years of B2B account management, partnerships, or licensing experience.
- You have owned a book of accounts and been measured on revenue or retention.
- Direct experience driving expansion, renewal, or upsell revenue from existing accounts.
- Comfort with the financial mechanics of licensing or partnership deals: royalties, minimums, guarantees, unit economics, scenario modeling.
- Strong written communication.
- Strong verbal communication and judgment on live calls.
- Ability to take an ambiguous, multi-step assignment, ask the right clarifying questions, and execute independently to a high standard.
- Proficiency with modern AI tools (Claude, ChatGPT, or similar).
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience.
Benefits
- Health, dental, and vision coverage
- Paid time off
- Fully remote work environment

➡️ About the role Successful businesses think globally – but complex compliance challenges create significant barriers to global operations, forcing teams to spend vast amounts of time, money, and energy on administration instead of strategic priorities. Traditional compliance approaches are too slow, vague, and expensive for modern business dynamics. That's why we've built the platform that automates compliance and duty of care for business travel, workations, and international assignments. Our vision: A world where global business knows no borders – where compliance is effortless, so growth has no limits. Your role in this mission: We're seeking an experienced German-speaking Account Manager to own renewals and drive expansion revenue across our existing customer base in the DACH market. 🎯 What you will do - Renewals: Own all renewal discussions end-to-end, ensuring packages are renewed on time with no revenue leakage. - Expansion: Identify and convert upsell and cross-sell opportunities across the entire portfolio, working closely with CS on adoption signals and with Sales. - Pipeline Management: Build and maintain a clear expansion pipeline with accurate forecasting and a defined next step for every opportunity. - Commercial Negotiation: Lead post-contract commercial discussions including package upgrades and contract amendments. - CS Collaboration: Partner daily with CSMs - use adoption data and health scores to prioritize and time expansion conversations. - Reporting: Track and report on NRR, renewal rates, and expansion pipeline using our CRM (HubSpot). ⭐ What you need to succeed - You bring 2-3 years of experience as an Account Manager or in a commercial Customer Success role in B2B SaaS, ideally with exposure to the DACH market and its dynamics. - High proficiency in both German and English. - Proven track record of owning renewals and/or upsell targets and consistently hitting or exceeding them. - Strong commercial instincts - you understand deal timing, negotiation levers, and pipeline hygiene. - You thrive in a fast-paced, results-oriented environment. You are self-motivated and proactive, able to work independently in a fully remote team setup. - You have a good understanding of technology and different tools, including Excel and HubSpot. - Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to clearly articulate complex ideas and concepts. - Demonstrated pipeline management experience, with the ability to juggle multiple deals and priorities simultaneously. - Strong problem-solving skills, with a proactive and solutions-oriented mindset. 🚀 Why join us at WorkFlex - Contribute to building the future of the fastest-growing HR tech startup in Germany backed by prominent customers such as Scout24, Vodafone, BioNTech, and others, as well as funding from top-tier VC and angel investors. - Competitive salary and VSOPs (Virtual Stock Options) to share in our success. - A monthly budget of €200 to spend on 🏢 co-working space and/or 🏃♀️ sports subscriptions. - Work from anywhere in a remote-only company and go on workations for up to 183 days a year. - Merit-based culture with substantial growth opportunities. - Trust-based work – organize your own schedule. We want to celebrate results, not hours spent working. - Collaborative team culture where everyone's input is valued to shape sales efforts, approaches, and processes. We may use AI-assisted tools to support parts of our recruitment process. These tools help our team review applications more efficiently, and all hiring decisions are made by humans.
