• designs, implements, maintains, and supports growing network infrastructure • responsible for supporting scalable, maintainable, highly available network architectures in tier III environments • delivers personal tasks on time and leads the delivery of tasks for natural or cross-functional workgroup • participates in cross-functional projects • creates System Design Documents • estimates system level and enterprise solution project details • responsible for fulfilling end-user requests • provides on call support as required
Job Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED
- Minimum 3 years of proven hands-on network engineering experience
- Basic understanding of networking protocols (e.g., IPSEC, HSRP, BGP, OSPF, 802.11, QoS)
- Basic understanding of the OSI or TCP/IP model
- Hands-on experience with monitoring, network diagnostic and network analytics tools
- Experience and ability to support: Firewalls, Routers, Switches, Wireless Controllers, Wireless Access Points, VLAN management, implementation and troubleshooting
