Resource Manager Associate

Huron

• Intake and coordinate staffing requirements with business leaders for client engagements • Own and manage project staffing for assigned team by understanding project requirements and employee skillsets • Proactively build strong relationships with employees • Develop proficiency in the resource management planning tool • Prepare and distribute regularly utilization and forecasting analyses • Monitor pipeline, track demands from sold projects and participate in forecasting process • Escalate issues, as applicable, to RM Strategy Lead • Coordinate staffing needs for contingent workers with the Procurement team • Maintain appropriate level of confidentiality on sensitive employment matters • Participate as an active member of the Resource Management team

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in a field related to this position or equivalent work experience
  • 2+ years of related experience in resource management, HR, talent acquisition or staffing required; professional services experience strongly preferred
  • High proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint
  • Experience with PowerBI, Visio, Smartsheets and SharePoint is preferred, but not required
  • Experience with Workday is preferred, but not required
  • Demonstrated ability to adapt to new technologies and evolving processes
  • Strong interpersonal skills with an ability to develop relationships of trust and confidence quickly
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with the ability to influence and negotiate
  • Ability to think critically to resolve problems with creative and effective solutions
