Job Description

Reporting Manager

Nysonian Inc.

• Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles) • Oversee the management of the general ledger, ensuring all journal entries, reconciliations, and adjustments are accurate and complete • Review monthly bank and balance sheet reconciliations to ensure accurate and up-to-date financial records • Support internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation and responding to audit queries • Manage and ensure the timely and accurate completion of the month-end and year-end close process • Provide insight into cost accounting and support decision-making processes related to cost control and profitability analysis • Assist in the preparation of budgets and financial forecasts, analyzing variances between actual and budgeted performance • Ensure all financial activities comply with company policies, internal controls, and regulatory requirements • Mentor and provide guidance to reporting team

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (required)
  • CA certification (preferred)
  • 6-8 years of experience in accounting or finance, with a focus on financial reporting and analysis
  • Strong knowledge of accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, Oracle) and Microsoft Excel
  • Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
  • Proactive self-starter with a continuous improvement mindset
  • Strong accountability to deliver on time, with high quality
  • Experience with financial reporting for public or private companies
  • Experience working in a fast-paced or high-growth environment
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
