Job Description

Environmental Manager

Conagra Brands

• Lead the implementation of the Corporate Environmental Management System across assigned sites • Partner with facility teams to maintain compliance with environmental regulations, permits, and Conagra procedures • Identify environmental risks and support development of action plans • Assist with environmental assessments, internal reviews, and ensure corrective actions are completed • Provide operational support for environmental control systems including wastewater treatment • Support capital planning by identifying environmental needs • Contribute to sustainability initiatives including waste reduction and energy conservation • Develop and deliver EMS and compliance-related training to site teams • Communicate program updates, risks, and performance metrics to leadership • Share best practices and contribute to continuous improvement efforts

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Environmental Science, Engineering, Biology, or Chemistry
  • 7+ years of experience in safety, health, environment, or engineering, including 3+ years of multi-site responsibility
  • Experience engaging employees to implement environmental strategies across platforms
  • Experience leading projects and presenting to all levels of the company
  • In-depth knowledge of environmental regulations and their impact on the food industry
  • Willingness to travel 50%–60%
