• Assist brokers in preparing insurance quotes and processing new business, renewals, and endorsements. • Manage and organise all policy documentation, compliance records, and client correspondence. • Coordinate with insurers and underwriters to lodge and follow up on insurance claims. • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records within CRM systems and demonstrate proficiency with Steadfast broking systems. • Ensure all workflows, documentation, and audit trails align with industry and company standards. • Monitor compliance-related tasks to ensure adherence to regulatory requirements. • Support continuous process improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and service delivery. • Provide responsive and professional support to both internal teams and clients. • Other role specific duties as they arise.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Insurance, or a related field.
- Minimum 2+ years of experience as a broker’s assistant is essential
- Working knowledge of the full range of business insurance products, underwriting processes, and industry platforms.
- Experience working with Australian insurance compliance standards and broking systems.
- Excellent organisational, time management, and multi-tasking abilities.
- Exceptional attention to detail, ensuring absolute accuracy in all data handling, documentation, and compliance records.
- Proactive communicator with the ability to work autonomously and as part of a collaborative team.
- A growth mindset with a focus on continuous improvement and operational efficiency.
- Tier 2 Insurance Broking qualification or willingness to obtain it is preferred
