• Monitor and troubleshoot daily interfaces between the Accountable Property System of Record (APSR) and the USSGL • Conduct root-cause analysis on "out-of-balance" conditions or failed system-generated transactions • Coordinate with IT and Functional teams to resolve technical "handshake" errors between procurement and accounting modules • Ensure all automated system entries for the 1700 (General Property, Plant, and Equipment) and 1500 (Inventory and Related Property) series accounts adhere to the Treasury’s pro forma entries • Validate that depreciation, capitalization thresholds, and gain/loss on disposals are calculated correctly within the system logic • Support the preparation of the Notes to the Financial Statements related to property and inventory • Perform monthly and quarterly reconciliations between the subsidiary property records and the general ledger control accounts • Provide evidential matter for Financial Statement Audits (e.g., FIAR compliance) to prove the existence and completeness of property records • Represent the Financial Management team during system upgrades or the implementation of new ERP modules • Develop and execute User Acceptance Testing (UAT) scripts to verify that system changes do not negatively impact the USSGL posting logic
